Ben Roethlisberger broke pandemic restrictions to get his hair cut and beard trimmed, along with a small recording crew, for a video the Steelers quarterback put out on his Twitter account Monday.
Governor Tom Wolf doesnt want Roethlisberger, or anyone to break coronavirus restrictions in that way.
My concern is just a general concern and anybody who puts himself or herself into harms way is something i think we ought to try to avoid, Wolf said in response to a question about Roethlisberger specifically. "And when you go to something like a barbershop and youre not protected, I dont care who you are. The chances of that virus wreaking havoc on your life increases.
"I dont think any Pennsylvanian ought to take that chance. I certainly dont want to take that chance myself.
Roethlisberger visited Normans Cut N Edge in Sewickley, which is in Allegheny County, in the video posted Monday. Allegheny County remains in the yellow phase of the states restriction easing.
The yellow phase rules explicitly warn against the opening of salons, barbershops and similar businesses. Gov. Wolf has also acknowledged the states limited ability to enforce these policies.
Roethlisberger was getting his beard trimmed as part of a promise he made to himself about not shaving until he could throw an NFL-caliber pass again after recovering from elbow surgery.
Big Bens press is primarily because he is coming back from elbow surgery
I sense that peoples pactince in PA has run out.
I wouldn’t take it to heart Ben. Democrat politicians don’t really care who any of us are, literally.
If Rothlisberger was smart he’d announce for the PA Gov race.
Soon these leftist losers will have them staying in YOUR house. Remember the scene in Doctor Zhivago when he returned from war...
“He is not liked by any one in this State that I know...and PA. is TRUMP COUNTRY, except for Harrisburg and Pittsburgh.”
You think Philly is Trump Country?
... keeping your hair, clean, neat and trimmed was a required part of personal hygiene. You’d think that forcing people to stop their normal practice of personal hygiene would be against the laws of the health department.

It’s not a law, it’s an edict.
It’s not about hygiene.
It’s about demoralization. It’s about eroding your sense of self-worth. And, of course, our betters get haircuts and nails and pedicures and massages, so you can see how much better they really are.
I got a legal hair cut yesterday. My beautician is booked solid 12-hours a day for the next 3 weeks. I felt sorry for her working in the mask and told her to take it off for us and breath (she’s mid-60s and her face was red around the mask and indented.)
She’s conservative, but she needs the money and was afraid someone would see and report her and she’d lose her license.
The up side is the terrified progs are actually calling to announce they won’t go out and take the risk of personal services. She won’t miss them and they will find her rotation is spoken for months in the future if they ever to decide to rejoin humanity. We’re moving 1 1/2 hours away and will travel every 6-8 weeks to give her our business.
Comrade Tom Wolf is serving his second term and is term limited.
He can do whatever he wants and the public be d@mned.
The barber should sue wolf for falsely claiming that he had the virus and would spread it to a customer.
My wife used her horse main and tail clippers on my last hair cut. It aint great but Im 68 and wear a hat. Things just opened up here and Im looking forward to getting things straightened out. Hooray for your barber. Hope folks remember a nice tip.
Got an email from Turning Stone Casino which is near me. It's run by the Oneida Nation. I regularly met my friends there once a month for lunch at the buffet and then we'd play the slots for a few hours. The email said they will be reopening on June 10th, but they'll require everyone to wear masks, and maintain social distancing, so what's the sense of even going if you can't carry on a normal conversation with the people you're meeting? They've also set a restriction on who can come. No one from outside a 120 mile radius, and you will have to show proof of where you live. Screw that. I called my friends and told them about the new rules, and said I won't be going back until I don't have to wear a mask at all. Even though I only take $80-100 with me when I go once a month, I'll be able to save some money in the meantime.
Around here in the Burg, Yellow means “Floor It”.
Wolfe handed PA. and its house seats to pubbies two weeks ago!!
FU Tommie The Commie!
We’ll all do what WE want to.
Take your Tranny Skank and go to NYC, where you belong.
Wolf's just an a-hole wannabee dictator.
Better hire a squad of haircut tracers to measure length of hair and apprehend criminals who illegally get their hair cut.
Gov Wolf: “only governors are allowed to get their hair done! But only democrats!”
I forgot Philly...
As of this morning there were no “metrics”/no criteria for how any area might turn “green” [before November 4].
That said, there has been some queffing from the Trannie that it is possible that some areas of the Peeples’ Republik of Pennsyltucky “might” turn “green” before other areas (think Filthydelphia) even make it to “yellow”.
Just want to make you kiss a part of Tommie the Commie’s anatomy, doesn’t it?
