The Seattle City Council is calling on Washington state to create a $100 million “relief fund” for illegal immigrants who did not qualify for the federal stimulus checks issued last month -- the latest push by left-wing politicians to give money to those in the country illegally.
The city’s council passed a resolution Monday asking Gov. Jay Inslee to create a “Washington Worker Relief Fund” to provide “economic assistance to undocumented Washingtonians during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
According to The Seattle Times, the vote was 9-0 and Mayor Jenny Durkan was to sign the measure.
“Looking out for the most vulnerable in our community is even more critical in times of crisis,” Durkan said, according to The Times. “It is all the more important to ensure we are not pushing people further into the shadows.”
While it is an unbinding resolution, and therefore only calls for such a fund rather than actually creating one, it is the latest push by Democrats across the country to include illegal immigrants in on taxpayer-funded stimulus checks.

Folks, I’ve lived in the Seattle area for 52 years. This November may be a shocker. First it was the Homeless invasion over the last 6 years, then the destruction of the Seattle economy by Inslee the last few months, now a bailout effort for illegals in Seatlle.
Even the most liberal of Seattleites has had enough. And the rest of the State? Ha! We’ve had enough!
How many people are in Seattle illegally? If it takes a $100,000,000 relief fund to solve their problem, I’m all for it - so long as the money is spent on one-way tickets to their real homes. Deport all illegals. No exceptions.

Do the vast majority of Rat voters go along with this stuff? They pay taxes too. Maybe they are so stupid that they don’t see the relationship between spending money on people that are taking away American jobs comes from their tax dollars. And worse, mine if it comes from the federal government. I’m sure they are concerned about me, a white, conservative Male. Afterall, they are so compassionate.
What about phone scammers in India? They are likely having a harder time convincing people to leave their houses to buy gift cards to read over the phone. How will they be taken care of?
What about Nigerian Oil Minister orphans? They aren’t all rich you know. Some are living in the shadows of Lagos having a hard time getting transaction fees for processing their million dollar payouts. When will the heartless politicians think of them?
What about people robbing liquor stores? There just isn’t as much cash in the drawer these days.
We need economic justice!
So tell me exactly, who is Idiot Inslee serving here? His lawful citizen constituents, or illegal aliens?
I will give them a hundred dollars to buy canned frijoles to eat on their walk back to Mexico.

Every time we accept this terminology we cede at least half the argument to the opposition.

If it’s a matter of negotiation we should start from an extreme at our end rather than ceding half the open-border lobbies position as a start point.

And where do they think they’ll get the money from? No businesses or people buying in Seattle. Seattle is a ghost town. Maybe, just maybe they’ll give up their salaries they keep earning while the rest of the city is unemployed and everything shut down.
