The words from Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker on Monday were meant to offer some hope for small business owners as he spoke of reopening industries within the state. For restaurant owners, it was what he failed to mention that evaporated any reason to hope.
As restaurants continue to withstand revenue losses of more than 75% over the last two months amid the coronavirus pandemic, Mondays plan revealed little new information to guide the industry forward...Baker said restaurants and hospitality fall into phase two. Each phase could last as little as three weeks, meaning restaurants could reopen with limited capacity in the middle of June.
However, reopening a new phase is predicated on health data, and negative metrics could force officials to delay another phase or return to a previous phase...

But I suppose you would be stopped at the border when trying to get back to Mass. Hell, you would probably be stopped trying to get out.
I live in Ma. Ive been to Cleveland a bunch of times. Shut down MA is still more exciting than open Cleveland. //Mostly Sarcasm.
U.S.State governments across America have responded with decisive action after startling reports surfaced that heart disease kills hundreds of thousands every year ...

It’s not about your health.....
People in these LIB/leftist states need to wake up. What more evidence do they need that the DIMs/LIBs/Leftists despise Free America and Free American Citizens? Wake up people...these fascistic nitwits are destroying your lives, destroying your Freedom, businesses and livelihoods.
“Hell, you would probably be stopped trying to get out.”

If I were in the states they wanted to infest that would be fine by me. Don’t need to import problems in general, let alone contagions.
They are now playing an evil game with people’s lives.
Small businesses are the backbone of this nation.
Destroy them, and you’ve destroyed our nation.
And it's not about your personal hygiene. When I was growing up, having your hair washed, neat and trimmed, was a part of your daily personal hygiene care. Cuomo, de Blasio, Lightfoot, have been using stylists/barbers all during the lockdown. I want some of that. Not being able to keep my personal hygiene up by having neat and tidy hair is a violation of my Constitutional Rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I'm not a happy camper when my hair is too long, and I can't get it to do anything.
I live in this state, and things like this make me sick.
I guess we are still better off than New Jersey (they say they won’t open until a vaccine is available) but boy, is that damning with faint praise.
A better state than New Jersey. Great. (with apologies to my fellow Freepers who live behind enemy lines there)
MA is a bunch of sheeple. Other states are just opening up their business’, damn the governor.
This state has been so sheepified, it’s a wonder the Revolution was fought here.
The ignorance of people is astounding.
Look at the situation in Red States vs Blue States.
And yet these people vote the same idiots in time after time.
I live in California, so I live in the midst of a bunch of
idiots. I know what it’s like.
Well, according to Lightfoot only SHE “takes personal hygiene seriously”. The rest of us peons can just suck it up and suffer.
I wonder if some of these people will see an “R” next to names on ballots, and think that “R” looks pretty good.
Charlie Baker is the definition of a RINO.
I live in MA, too. I was in Cleveland once, a long time ago, and it was VERY boring. But, haven’t they had a few renaissances in the past 20 or 30 years? I hear you can swim in Lake Erie, and the Cuyahoga no longer catches fire. Don’t most places get bouts of urban renewal?
The restaurateurs were livid on talk radio today. One guy has a restaurant in the North End and has been in business for 25 years and is at the end of his rope. Marty Walsh isnt even giving people in Boston any hope. This guy said he cant open at 25% as he wouldnt be able to pay his bills. He also said that after 25 years of working for the MBTA he could retire with a nice pension.
I really feel for these people and understand their anger when not one hack has lost their job.
A dullard's dullard, he's the most boring person in the world. Second place isn't even close.
Make no mistake, this RINO is as bad as any of the blue state fascists ruining people's lives. He gets away with his b.s. as people fear the perma-sleep more than the virus!
Fortunately, I'm but a mile from more freedom in New Hampshire where Charlie's po-po can't touch me for refusing to do the face mask thing.
FU, Chuck!
“Shut down MA is still more exciting than open Cleveland.”
Does MA have anything to rival the R&R Hall of Fame?
