Disturbing news is coming out of Oregon, as hundreds of people are reporting that their voter registration was switched from Republican to non affiliated without their knowledge or permission.
Oregon is entirely vote-by-mail, and ballots were sent out in the last week of April, and due this Tuesday at 8:00 PM. Many were shocked to open their ballot to find that they were no longer with the party they thought they were with, and they received non partisan ballots. As Oregon is a closed primary state, this effectively denies these people the right to vote in the party’s primary that they thought they were registered as.
This is only reportedly happening to folks who were registered as Republican.

And since Multnomah County always waits until all other counties are tallied so they know how many more votes to manufacture, it’s a moot point.

Does Oregon have a rule where the top 2 vote getters go through to the general election?
In WA, the top 2 are in the final. It is possible for 2 of the same party to be in the general. So if you limit the number of Republicans by declaring them “non partisan”, guess what!

Patriots are reminded that Section 2 of the 14th Amendment (14A) specifies a penalty for states that interfere with the constitutionally enumerated voting rights of their citizens.
”14th Amendment, Section 2. Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens [emphases added] twenty-one years of age in such State."
Note that voting rights amendments ratified after ratification of 14A effectively changes how the express voting eligibility criteria of 14A is to be interpreted imo.
Note the wide language, "at any election" and "in any way abridged" in Section 2.
Also, note that penalties for a state tampering with Senate elections were arguably overlooked when 17th Amendment was ratified, that amendment needing to be repealed anyway.
