President Donald Trump has suggested multiple times that a coronavirus vaccine could come within months, an accelerated timeline that prominent health experts and veteran vaccine developers say is unlikely absent a miracle.
"We're looking to get it by the end of the year if we can, maybe before," Trump said Friday during in a Rose Garden event centered on his administration's efforts to fast-track a vaccine.
“Vaccine work is looking VERY promising, before end of year,” Trump tweeted on Thursday.
“I think it’s possible you could see a vaccine in people’s arms next year — by the middle or end of next year. But this is unprecedented, so it’s hard to predict,” said Dr. Paul Offit, a professor at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Walter Orenstein, a professor at Emory University and the associate director of the Emory Vaccine Center, said a vaccine in less than a year would be “miracle.”
While technically possible, he added, it is unlikely.
“There’s a lot of things that could go wrong,” Orenstein said.

Another huge mistake by Trump in his response to Virus Fraud.
A vaccine to any Sars virus has never been developed and there is no reason to believe that will suddenly and miraculously change. Trump’s policy should be: We are working on a vaccine and treatment options but have no idea when or if those things will happen, hospitals are fully capable of treating anyone who contracts the virus, and states must end all phony plandemic restrictions immediately.
Why should Trump (or anyone) be “right” about this?
The most probable time of a successful coronavirus vaccine is “never”.
And yet some Demonrat bastions plan to stay shut down until there is a vaccine.
Very sadly Kushner apparently has Trump all bought in on the disastrous Big Pharma/Big Tech schemes to bankrupt and control our country.
I like how “could” turns into “Trump promises”.
That’s actually a very good strategy. I like it.
I hope that Pres. Trump finds a way to circumvent his apparent blunder. I guess that if anyone can, it’s him.

Apparently the experts have not gotten the news yet. We live in an age of miracles, brought about by tried and true American values.
Let the miracles continue. They are ordinary, and unexpected by the left because of 40 years of burgeoning Democrat socialism.Only the government can get things done? Nope.

We will win this war against China. Its not only a war against the virus. It is a test of the will of the People and both the Dems and the Chinese are betting that the American People will fail that test and become subjugated. And the lefty Socialists and their Public Health "scientists" are losing that battle.
Trump supporters are winning that battle and we will be Victorious over China and the virus. The experts? Not so much.
By then the Covid will have pretty much run it's course just like all past epidemics. Numbers of people contracting it then will be so insignificant that it won't be worth reporting on........
Would they rather have a president who says, “It’s hopeless! We’re all gonna die!” or one who is optimistic?
So even though a perfect vaccine is a pipe dream and the whole notion of it is used to control the sheeples ... once again it looks like Trump has taken lemons and made lemonade.
He waved his magic wand and brought jobs back, maybe he is waving it again for a vaccine.
Fauci made several stops on different shows touting a vaccine by January. He didn’t just say it once....but many, many times.
I didn’t hear a lot of certainty in those words. It sounds like a speculation. Of course, the media has jumped on it, and twisted it into something else to make up a story. That’s their modus operandi, and why they have no credibility anymore. Especially when it comes to Trump.
There’s a difference between optimism and being realistic. Right now our liberties and livelihood trump the virus. Pardon the pun. The Republic can’t wait for a vaccine.
“Experts” said we would have 2 million dead.
