It’s turning out that the CCP make a mistake by sending their virus around the world, and watching if follow in the path of their imperial “belt and road” strategy. Xi is no dummy, and he’s going to ramp up efforts to turn things around in China’s favor.
I think he’s in the middle of making a second, serious mistake by responding aggressively, but he’s probably forced to by internal, domestic political realities.

China is not really a mamber of the world wide community of nations. And the last straw has been cast. Where will it go? We will see after novemer 3rd. I’ve been a buy American forever. I’ve been complaining about the one way trade gates and pro Made in China policies probably since before the days of Bush 1 and Clinton. Meanwhile many of my friends who claimed to be conservative back then said hey its free trade and we need to bust up the unions. It was too bad China had us under their thumb even back then while too many Repubs were only interested in one way trade and busting unions. Well time changes and we finally wise up before it is too late.
My entire family sold off all of our Chinese stocks. Radioactive!!
