Not properly wearing a mask in New York City can get you thrown to the ground, handcuffed, and arrested. It doesn’t even matter if your young child is there to witness it all. That’s the message from a video of one mom’s arrest by a large group of NYPD and MTA officers for her mask etiquette in a New York City subway station this week.

22-year-old Kaleemah Rozier and her toddler both have masks in the video. But their masks did not provide them with cover from New York’s stringent requirements during the coronavirus era.

Your going to see situations were a cop is just sitting in his cruiser when someone comes up and puts a bullet into his head. It has already happened numerous times. Eventually, the police force will have a hard time getting new recruits.
When police lose the respect of the people, then it’s over for them and us. No police, no law, then anarchy.

When people were dumping trash on their cars, pouring buckets of water on their heads, shooting them with super soakers... they hung their heads and walked away like punks.
When a mom doesn’t wear a mask... they are suddenly big tough “he men”.
That was exactly the time and place. And rest assured, they would have still fired him no matter where and when he did it.
And tell me, what did he say that was wrong or embarrassing?
He said in other jurisdictions, he has seen officers bully and harrass people innocent of any crime. True.
He said officers have no duty to enforce any edict that clearly violates the constitution. Also true, and the Nuremberg 101.
And last, he said that the US Police are dwarfed by the US armed populace and should never forget that it would go badly for them if they ever lose that permissive trust we give them. He further said he has seen that in a war zone. Also provably true.
Emotion aside, what exactly did he say that is even slightly controversial or improper for any police department?
As has been reported. He could have said anything he wanted to but he was in uniform representing the office of security. All reports said he was factual but he should not have said it while in uniform and in an official vehicle.
Just following orders....

What problems did you see in V for Vendetta?
Honestly, I liked both the graphic novel and the movie for the most part. Problems that I saw didn’t “ruin” anything for me, but I know others thought they were bothersome.
1) Moore is a Left-wing anarchist. His politics are not Conservative.
2) He slipped in persecution of homosexuals as one of the great acts of Oppression.
3) A fairly important character is killed for the crime of owning a Koran (and for being homosexual).
4) One of the Oppressors is a hypocrite — a man of the Church who likes little girls.
5) V straight up tortures Evey to test her loyalty, and she doesn’t seem to mind.
6) I saw the depiction of the Oppressive Big Brother Government and it screamed “socialist tyranny” to me but it was really clear that the scream I was SUPPOSED to hear was “rightwing Christian Oppression”.
My memory might not be perfect (it’s been several years) but these are some of the things that I thought missed the mark. The story could have just as easily been told as a Tyrannical society run by do-gooders and social justice warriors oppressing anyone who is Normal or Deplorable. I think that would have been a more realistic depiction of where we are today. But the author wanted to push Christians as the bad guys instead.
I am with you this s giving American citizens a first hand view of what Dem rule will be like everyday gets better and better to take the house back in record numbers!!!
