Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers said the state was the "Wild West" on Wednesday night after the Wisconsin Supreme Court blocked an extension of his stay-at-home order.
The Democratic state leader told MSNBC that judges had created "chaos" in Wisconsin by voting 4-3 against the extension of state lockdown measures until May 26. Wisconsin Supreme Court judges ruled on Wednesday that his stay-at-home extension was "unlawful, invalid and unenforceable."
The governor warned that there was "nothing compelling anyone to do anything" in Wisconsin as the novel coronavirus continued to spread across the U.S.

“The governor warned that there was “nothing compelling anyone to do anything””
The governor is an idiot. People own sense of self-preservation is very compelling. They will watch out for their own safety as they see fit.
If there is a sudden surge, guess what those bars will suddenly be empty again.
Another criminal, totalitarian, leftist governor. They all want you dead, folks. Dead by starvation because they order you not to be able to work and thus starve is as good a dead as a bullet to the head.
They are horrible people.

A necktie party. With him as the guest of honor.
I just checked a few haircutting places in the area (western Wisconsin). The chain locations I checked are still closed (Great Clips and Fantastic Sam’s). The one local shop is run by a guy who’s about 75 years old. I talked to him on the phone and he’s not opening “until this thing plays out”.
Some people just don’t seem to want freedom anymore
Yeah and my barber happens to be in Green Bay. The blue baby there is still trying to bury Green Bay.
I hate to say it, but the best thing about Brown County is the big bridge in Green Bay as I drove over it on my way up to hunting camp in the U.P.
Some of us prefer Dodge City over Dachau.
Good grief, the Governor could have simply gone to the legislature. They could have come up with something reasonable and legal, reasonable not being acceptable to the Governor I presume, and like many Dems, legal isn't a consideration.
Barring that, towns and counties can simply reinstate or create their own orders. Local control, what an odd concept. But one liberals accept, as evidenced by Dane County (Madistan) releasing their orders within a short time of the ruling, they were ready. Towns in Milwaukee County are doing the same as we speak. And if rural counties don't, they're free to do that. What a silly concept, freedom.

How about transparency and solid science-based recommendations?
They're doing it as we speak, as are counties. At least Dane County. We'll find out if they can, give the courts something to do.
Not in my part of Florida, a few miles down the road, yes...
Celebrating freedom and personal responsibly.
Little totalitarian Tony is like the loser at the end of Animal House trying to keep everything “calm” and “well”.
Maybe he should not have pretended he was a tin-pot dictator. He could have made rules that pass muster, and he could have worked with the legislature and gotten a law passed that provided reasonable restrictions.
Will he follow the law? Or go rouge?
if he becomes a she, I would opt for the latter...
My beautician isn’t answering her phone or returning calls.
Going in later to check things out for myself.
Wild West.
Same thing they said when citizens got “permission slips from government” to carry weapons outside of their homes and property.
Crime went down.
Yes it was.
Sometimes you just look no for the good old days. Our governments could use a good dose of tar and feathers
