Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers said the state was the "Wild West" on Wednesday night after the Wisconsin Supreme Court blocked an extension of his stay-at-home order.
The Democratic state leader told MSNBC that judges had created "chaos" in Wisconsin by voting 4-3 against the extension of state lockdown measures until May 26. Wisconsin Supreme Court judges ruled on Wednesday that his stay-at-home extension was "unlawful, invalid and unenforceable."
The governor warned that there was "nothing compelling anyone to do anything" in Wisconsin as the novel coronavirus continued to spread across the U.S.

So far this morning only the blue mayors were still using Evers criteria. Still waiting to get a hair cut.
I am in Wisconsin. I just took a drive around my city and small places have their OPEN signs lit up! Our little corner of the state is opening up today.
In large municipalities, their local officials are still sticking with a stay at home order. Milwaukee, Dane county (Madison), Racine are among those places.
I wish it was the wild west. This turd would be stretching a rope if it was.
Forgat to add that that mayors involved were Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay. There may be more now I haven’t checked.
The jackass wanted it to be Nazi Germany and himself as Hitler the dictator.
Well, Wisconsin can now be our first case of what happens when free Americans can make their own decisions. If I was the governor, I would just throw up my hands and say “Have at it.”
Will he follow the law? Or go rouge?
CNN reports Wisonsinners act selfishly, creating a beer famine for the rest of the country.
Evers would rather be the law in the Kremlin ...
“The Democratic state leader told MSNBC that judges had created “chaos” in Wisconsin by voting 4-3 against the extension of state lockdown measures...”
Nope, you created chaos by assuming the courts would just grant unlimited dicatorial powers in perpetuity, and having no fall back plan in case they disagreed.
I'm guessing Pelosi might be re-thinking the wisdom of providing an extra $600/week for the unemployed - because now they'll have cash to help those opening businesses have customers to open up to.
Excellent.
Wait, I thought that was normal for Florida even before the lockdown?
The court left it open for the legislature to decide instead of the governor. That is the way it should be.
Brandy will be in short supply too.
Cool!
Only the tie:
Cheeseheads, man. I knew it would come to this. What’s next, dancing?
Brown county (greater Green Bay area) was open for a few hours then slapped back shut until the 20th. County level here has always been a hiding place for petty rogues and assorted asshats. I assume they needed a couple more days to pull off their latest machinations.
