Former Gov. John Hickenlooper leads U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner by 18 percentage points in Colorado's U.S. Senate race, according to a poll from Colorado firms released Wednesday.

The Keating-Onsight-Melanson poll of likely voters, made available in advance of its release to Colorado Politics, shows Hickenlooper with 54% support to Gardner's 36% in a hypothetical head-to-head contest, with 9% undecided and 1% picking another candidate.

Cory Gardner calls for Donald Trump to step aside; won’t vote for him

But that means they should primary him, not allow Hickenlooper to win. It also has nothing to do with the accuracy of the polls. 8>)

I wish Edgar Allan Poe was.

Gardiner isn’t fighting back. I don’t think he has the fire in his belly. Of course, the enemedia is licking chickenfluffer’s butt.

I prefer republicans while Trump is in the White House but won’t be shedding a tear for any coup enabling GOPe like Gardner who may lose. Frankly, they deserve to lose for violating their oath of office.

stupid, pointless poll: Hickenlooper isn’t even the Dem nominee yet because the primary for non-presidential offices hasn’t even been held yet; furthermore, in the Dem state assembly, Hickenlooper’s primary opponent, Andrew Romanoff won top line on the dem primary ballot with 86% of the delegates at the colorado democrat state assembly ...

I wonder if John Hickenlooper is kin to Clem Kadiddlehopper?

Gardiner isn’t fighting back.”

I suspect he has a lobbying job lined up. He’s a friend if the swamp, he will be rewarded

He’s also a big neocon warmonger, in my opinion. GOP is better off with the party’s Gardners out of office IMO.

I wonder if Gardner is related to Hillary. By failing to support Trump, Gardner effectively helped Hillary carry Colorado

Reap what you have sown, Gardner.
Karma is a mofo, yo.
Good luck.

Tepidly and only when it was a direct benefit to Gardner to not go against Trump

I don’t recall Gardner supporting Trump even “tepidly”. Did he EVER say Trump would be better than Hillary? Did he EVER say he was supporting Trump and would vote for Trump?

If I’m wrong, I’ll be happy to be corrected, but my impression is that Gardner effectively supported Hillary by refusing to endorse Trump. Again, if there is evidence otherwise, please let me know

Decline has nothing or little to do with legalized pot though the politicians love them the pot money. Decline has to do with too much inflow of liberals from other states (primarily CA but seeing more NY in the last decade), cost of housing is now through the roof and a republican party that is feckless and would rather serve as the socialist lite to their masters

I would count his votes in the Senate as his tepid response and those only when a nay would expose him too much for what he actually is. Has he ever come out verbally in support of Trump...not that I ever heard or read. CO wasn’t going to go Trump no matter what. There are no longer enough conservative/republican votes in this state. Hell the Republicans lost almost every state wide office in the last election and the democrats hold the trifecta. I can’t stand Gardner and probably will leave that blank on the ballot, but Gardner and his reputation carries no weight in this state to be influential in a presidential campaign. Well influential in the negative is the best he can hope for. Most of us get vomit in our mouth just trying to say Gardner

Well if they lose numbers they lose the Senate and the Democrats gain control. Primary him and if that is unsuccessful, neutralize him while he is in office. But his number is important.

Hickenlooper is at the far left extreme even among gun grabbers. He is one of the most evil democrats currently seeking office, in a particularly malignant group of petty tyrants. I hope that one way or another that thug will never again hold office.
