A New York Post report claims women in New York are seeking guns in anticipation of what they fear is a coming coronavirus crime wave.
According to the Post, 35-year-old Nicole Rosario is a stay-at-home Staten Island mom who wants a gun.
Rosario said, Its my constitutional right. But that doesnt seem to matter. I live in New York which means its impossible. Thats crazy and unfair.
Rosarios 32-year-old sister, Christine, feels the same. She is actually going to ask her boyfriend to move in with her because he already has a gun.
Cassie Kramer, a 46-year-old in the fashion industry, commented: Ive been living in the East Village and other occasionally tough neighborhoods for a long time. But for the first time, Im going outside and I get a bad tingling feeling. The streets are empty and it doesnt feel right. I know there arent a lot of cops out and its just a reality that people could get very desperate.
New York is one of a handful of states where gun stores are closed; classified as non-essential via Governor Cuomos (D) shutdown order. And if a New Yorker thinks they can at least begin the process of taking ownership of a gun by applying for a license to have a weapon in the city, that option is gone too, as the NYPD has closed its licensing office.

Oh, now you need us? Got to hell.
And Christine just ratted out her boyfriend.
Options..
Change the laws,
Move
All of which are too late now.
This really hit the hot button for me. For me to allow these women to own a gun after the way they’ve been voting for years, it would involve a written AND video-taped apology and complete admittance of having been in error and a promise to NEVER think that way again. Also, thorough training would be required in use of the firearm. No negotiation.
BIG surprise, so are the gun clubs.
A couple nights ago, someone knocked on my daughters door at midnight. They knocked three times with five minute intervals.
Thats when my daughters roommate found out she had a firearm.
Whoever it was went away.
There is no 2nd Amendment in many states.
Maybe he has a permit?
Hey Danny, did they close all the gun stores during the Spanish Flu?
“Im going outside and I get a bad tingling feeling.”
We are heading into a major depression worse than 1930. Business reopening is not going to help. The world is shutting down. At least people had gardens in the 30’s. People are burning through whatever small nest egg they had.
It’s gonna be rough.
Good luck with that.
Gun stores closed, county clerks offices (most) closed, no ammo.
Oh and make sure you keep voting for Democrats.
[[[BIG surprise, so are the gun clubs.]]]
Where have you heard this?
My gun club is closed, has been.
I want to see all of the people who have flamed me for saying this for a long time face-to-face. I really do.
By state or local order?
Ours has been open for the duration.
Even filthynois left gun stores and ranges open.
Crime in a lock-down, ironic
They can buy guns in NYC? That’s legal?
County clerks all still getting paid ... not working ... Government workers appreciate the largesse of the unemployed masses which allows them to maintain their own lifestyles.
