“A basic tenet of the Marxist-Leninist school of leftism is that lies are permissible to achieve the goal. So while the leftist may believe in the goal, he may not believe in the drivel he spouts that he believes helps achieve the goal.”

Wow, you really are the king of the distinction without a difference.

” the Ninth Circuit reversed the decision, not based on arguments presented by Sineneng-Smith, but by third parties the court brought in to submit arguments that the panel of judges themselves had suggested.

You just can’t make this sh*t up. “

I mean, why even go through with the charade. Talk about having your mind made up!!

More like, 2 Clinton appointees and 1 Obama appointee on the 9th schemed a way to overturn McCarran-Walter but latched onto a bad case in an attempt to stuff the hoop, then figuratively hired the Lakers to stuff the hoop for the Defendant, ignoring the axiom that 'Bad cases make bad law'.

It's kind of incredulous radical court activism really, but look at the Judge's backgrounds and you can see how it happened.

The best part may be the penultimate graf in this report where Sineneng-Smith's SCOTUS counsel whined about his rare 9-0 slapdown like a stuck pig.

"I forget what year I was looking at. Like 2011 the 9th circuit had 19 cases reviewed by SCOTUS, 17 were reversed, They aren’t just liberal, they’re legal idiots. Lots reversed on fundamental jurisdiction issues a 1st year law student knows"

They (the 9th) are lazy (they meet in these cool old Courthouses and then go back to their manses and condos and have their clerks do the work) and they paper over their laziness by polishing-the-turd, which is the 9th's rep as the 'de novo' Marxist incubator.

Even a broken clock is right at least twice... I’ll give her a kudo for doing the right thing.

She should consider stepping aside though. That clock, as it does for all of us, is winding down...

Clearly, Trump and McConnell still have a lot of work to do in the 9th Circuit.

Satan is plenty intelligent, but made wrong conclusions.

Satan wasn't wrong about humans. Given freedom of choice, they usually make the worst choices.

God gives us what we need. Satan offers us whatever we 'want'.

When given such a choice, which do you choose ?

After Evelyn Sineneng-Smith had been convicted of violating a federal law related to encouraging illegal immigration, the Ninth Circuit reversed the decision...

"If it was that bad shouldn’t the 9th circuit judges be considered for impeachment and removal?"
Why bother? They'll just end up in Congress. ;-)

Perhaps this is Ginsburg’s last “gasp” at showing any signs of judicial sanity. Otherwise, tomorrow it will be back to far-leftist pseudo-judicial writings and rantings.

Time for her to go. Where, I don’t care. However, I heard a rumor from Harry Reid’s Romney source that the Devil put out a “Not Welcome RBG” sign at the front gates of Hell, while God said “Ruth, since you don’t believe in me, you can’t believe in my home, Heaven. Hit the road Ruth, and don’t come back no more, nor more”. And, “There is no House of Ruth for you, or even a “Baby Ruth” candy bar”.

I think it shows that RBG has limited time and is looking for forgiveness for the horrendous life she led.

You are conflating intelligence and sanity.

Pondering reality and coming to correct conclusions is sanity. The depth of the conclusions is intelligence.

“Pondering reality and coming to correct conclusions is sanity.”

I can’t agree with that. John Nash came to some correct conclusions, but suffered from an extreme case of schizophrenia. OTOH, there are large numbers of stupid but sane people who hardly ever get any of the big questions right.

“The depth of the conclusions is intelligence.”

One would expect higher intelligence to produce more depth of understanding, but even that is subject to considerations of the type of intelligence.
