WASHINGTON (AP) — The Justice Department on Thursday said it is dropping the criminal case against President Donald Trump’s first national security adviser, Michael Flynn, abandoning a prosecution that became a rallying cry for Trump and his supporters in attacking the FBI’s Russia investigation.

No mention whatsoever by AP that Flynn was threatened with his son’s prosecution...

No mention that the Obama administration was behind all of this. DOJ, FBI, NSA, CIA, State, all of them. Including Hussein himself.

"I believe PDJT needs LTG Flynn to reorganize all 17 agencies within the IC community."

Hopefully he will do that once he's reelected, and it will be Flynn at the head of that agenda.

Well, President Trump sure mentioned it, several times, in his remarks a little while ago.

“Flynn might have been better equipped to pursue a civil lawsuit if the judge had ruled in his favor on the matter.”

I think he can go after all of them personally, in civil court, and get a bazillion dollars. He was harassed, and financially harmed to the max. It looks like there are thousands of pages of documentation to support a case.

Go, Sydney, go!

I think she’d be a good replacement for RBG. Heaven knows she could take any heat the RAT Senators would throw at her in hearings. She has proved she can handle anything.

I don’t know if it is better or worse, but basically, this is DOJ stepping in and kicking Team Mueller in the nuts. The motion admits the FBI had no case, and once the Mueller team was gone, the DOJ team tenders a motion that is 180 degrees opposite Team Mueller.

This is a hell of an opening move.

Hanging is too good for these traitors. Hung, drawn and quartered, and their parts dispersed to the four corners of the earth, and their heads struck on pikes around the Washington Monument, to send a message to any other would-be traitors, that crimes against the Republic, will not be tolerated.

"Judge Sullivan is on record telling Flynn you sold your country out."

And he'll have to live with those words. He's the one who sold his country out, and I think he knows that now. Whether he has a conscience remains to be seen. Any decent man would apologize to General Flynn for those words. Time will tell.

If this case had respolved in the typical way, with DOJ deciding to drop it (assume gulity plea withdrawn) on burden of proof, both sides would persist in the old narratives. Flynn would still be guilty, not tried, and Flynn would be innocent.

This move cuts that off. This move kicks Team Mueller and the FBI team that framed Flynn, out into the cold. DOJ is disowning Mueller. I believe this is the first time in histoiry that a SC has been exposed as corrupt.

Some people say General Flynn has his reputation ruined.

I don’t see that AT ALL.

There never was a conviction, so his reputation has remained stellar throughout this horror.

And now, he has MANY WAYS OF RECOVERING HIS LOST MONEY, including lawsuits against those FBI cretins, writing a book, being placed in the important job for which he is qualified, etc.

GOOD LUCK, General Flynn and God bless you and your family.

-- I think the judge has to sign off on the dismissal. --

So, play out a scenario where, faced with this motion, the judge proceeds on the basis of the guilty plea! Whooo boy.

Order of dismissal with prejudice has been sent to Sullivan. He has to sign it.

“Not sure how the feds can simply drop the case once the plea is entered.”

Simple, if someone in the government puts a gun to your head and forces you to cop a plea...

"I believe this is the first time in history that a SC has been exposed as corrupt."

I think you're absolutely right. Mueller needs to be held accountable for everything that happened under his watch. He was just the figurehead, but he allowed all this stuff to go on under his nose, and whether he knew about it, or not, the fact that it went on shows he was complicit, because he appointed these people...and put his signature on the paperwork that approved it all. Even the final report...that he didn't even write has his signature on it. Let the chips fall where they may. I don't care if he is an old fart. He still played a part in it all, and got paid well for his services. I'd still like to know how many times he and Comey communicated during the whole investigation. We know Comey met with him just after he was named as Special Counsel. What did they talk about, and how many more conversations did they have over those years, and how much did Comey's input influence the investigation?

Thanks for the update. Hopefully the Judge will let himself off easily, and sign the thing, and he can go sulk in the corner and contemplate how he was played for a fool by the same legal system he represents.

They can do anything they please. They have the guns to back them up. That is why the Communists Governments control their people. They control the guns. Control the guns, control the people. It is as simple as that.
