I agree with what you said, mostly. But there is also the “silent Trump voter” who will not admit to favoring Trump and may even lie and state support for the Democrat. I have only been polled twice in my life and one of the calls was in 2016 when I Id’d as a Democrat and stated support for Clinton.
The silent Trump supporter could amount to as much as 10% of the voters.
