Pandemic food crisis: Texas cattle ranch forced to euthanize livestock
U- Tub..... 3rd party- Also on Bitchute direct from author ^ | 4/28/2020 | Shad Sullivan North Texas Cattleman/Farmer

Posted on 05/03/2020 2:45:48 PM PDT by John S Mosby

"Hey, everybody- this is Shad Sullivan coming to you from the headwaters of Bitter Creek, Archer County, North Texas. We have to talk! "State officials will be assisting to help identify potential alternative markets, if a producer is unable to move animals, and if neccessary advise and assist on depopulation and disposal methods." L&G.we are plowing under vegetable crops from coast to coast euthanizing millions of chickens. We are aborting sows and burying feeder pigs. We are dumping milk by the hundreds of thousands of gallons. Now they are preparing us to depopulate the fat cattle ready to harvest, because of a bottleneck created by the effects of Covid this thing hasn't been created by Covid but the effects of Covid and the logistics therein.

Our food supply is in trouble, and I am appealing to producers and consumers across the nature-- to START calling. Yesterday, the first shipment of imported beef from the country of Namibia hit the shores of the USA, and yet this morning they are telling us to prepare to euthanize harvest ready cattle

.. It is time we get food on the shelves- because if you're not concerned about this food supply problem..... you better be. We have a huge supply/demand of food across this nation, we can feed the world ourselves and yet we are destroying our harvests! At the same time we are importing beef from other countries, beef that is less regulated than our beef less safe, not as high quality a product and yet... They are preparing us to euthanize our harvest-- does that make sense to America?!

Last 10 years we have been pressed to be "sustainable". I've said all along that sustainability is the PROD. Now we are being told to euthanize-- doesn't sound like sustainability to me.........."

Bitcoin dropped more than the stock market. It went from the 8000’s down to the 3000’s.

Not sure what Bitcoins you are talking about.

They are going up, but when you inject $10 Trillion into your fiat system it will go up.

There are other reasons as well....but we are not going to get into that.

Bottle neck. Do you not understand the process... farm to processor to trucker to wholesaler/store megawarehouses to store trucks or trucks direct.

That is WHY friend. Learn it, understand it and call. The day US food producers are told by central planning to kill their crop— and at the same time central globalist planning is importing beef (think on that— importing beef TO the US— we sure as hell don’t need it. Who, what, when, where and why— who is importing and with what- if any tarrifs).

Kindly explained. Here’s another answer— the “free labor” knackers that some outfits employ-— are the Bush/Clinton free labor express “open borders” employed (and manipulated by the UNIONS). That help?

I understand everyone thinks this is about the US. But consider nothing is being shipped overseas either.

We could be wide open and this stuff would still be happening.

Call it all you want. Will post more than this one— it is the feed lots, and also the “feeders” from the ranches.

All past tense. Not how it is today, as a result of “green, sustainable” New Deal FAKE A@@ farmers, and, for that matter, the feed lot owners playing along for the “goodies” cookies.

A federal strike force is headed to Amarillo in response to a surge of
coronavirus cases tied to meatpacking plants in the area.

Amarillo Mayor Ginger Nelson announced on Saturday that a team of
federal officials would arrive in the Texas Panhandle as soon as Sunday
to help “attack” outbreaks in the plants and take over testing and
investigations of people contracting the new coronavirus.

“They will bring resources and most importantly they will bring
strategies that they’ve been using in other beef packing plants
to slow the spread, to get control of it,” Nelson said in a video
posted to her Facebook page.

"then they are a feedlot operation and NOT a farm or ranch."

There are some 26,000 beef feedlots around the country. I would include any swine, chicken, sheep, turkey lots that are not free grazing. But then, what do I know about raising livestock? Nothing, other then what I just researched.

Yes, the suburban targeted Cloward-Piven “chaos” of systems not delivered, as in “where’s my burgers?” being pushed to
“emergency” and they run to the GUBMINT, the same “saviour” that guarantees electronic money for the food-— which they won’t get if they don’t vote the right way. Down to the county in the States, and the “machine”.

You will not, for example, from these “demoncratic” machine institutions EVER, ever see a “shortage” of tobacco products from US corporations (and a certain fixed number of tobacco farmers stateside, and many more from places like Zimbabwe... for real).... no sir. The tobacco products are both “addictive” and revenue positive. In both VA and NC, the State run Alcohol Beverage Control stores are ALL open— so the addicted can get their booze, with their ‘gubment” checks. Turning us all into “plantation” dependencies. The last thing they want are independent self-sufficient Americans. No this pushes dependency.

I just got back from the grocery store. Plenty of beef, pork, chicken. They even had some toilet paper but I didn’t need that.

We’ve had some plants temporarily close because the workers were getting sick and some were dying. They closed to disinfect the plants and reopened with new protocols. The closures would cause a bottleneck and most likely the new protocols will result in a slowdown. Seems to me that someone needs to get going on getting these guys in the loop with who is open, closed, and slowed.

We are relatively hard hit and we have a LOT of Cargill’s Meat Packing plants.

Don’t forget the Green New Deal’s pals.... the freaking Socialism loving bankers-— who sit on their a@@es and wait, the local govts asking for bank supported “subsidy” and STILL will raise taxes to the benefit of urban sprawl mega story rentals of non-ownership class (filled with illegals on yet another subsidy).

You do get the connection. Call congress critters who are on these committees (not Nantzis but the ones who can effect action— Agriculture). Calling Perdue direct, and so are GA farmers who put him in office and further— to call him. This has to stop now. This is more than a beef rancher bitching.

In the 1930s, the US government bought up tens of thousands of livestock, drove them into trenches and shot them, buried them to get the price up. They refused to give any of the meat to poor folks around there.

Ten years later, those same government agents were pleading with America’s farmers to increase production of all foods for the war effort. Just how many calves do they thing a cow can drop in one year?

I know there are small operators all over the place in many states and that these guys are not operating anywhere near capacity this time of year because it isn’t deer season. Could there be a way to stitch these smaller businesses together in order to handle the extra beef supply?

I’ve said that we need to send a semi to a pig farm and bring them back here. You can butcher your own meat and you could just put out the word that you had market ready pigs and could sell them in a day.

We did buy 2 600 lb calves last week to put on feed and think we may get a few more.

I actually typed what you posted and then decided to read the comments before I posted.

Cattle dont rot like lettuce in a field, they may get past optimum weight and incur more feed costs but it would take some really long-term, extremely low prices to make you kill them and get nothng for them.

Also, unlike produce that costs oodles to harvest where you would actually lose hundreds of dollars an acre more if harvested and marketed, you just out cattle on a truck.

I grew up on a farm, and my brother farmed for years. I'm calling "bullshit" on this. If they are getting ready to "euthanize" any animals, then they are a feedlot operation and NOT a farm or ranch.

BINGO. This smells like bovine excrement.

You can do that. I admit, it is hard to find a good butcher but you can cut it up yourself. It would be nice to have a walk-in freezer but you can put it in several freezers. Don’t try to put a bunch in one freezer because it might burn up the motor trying to freeze 100s of pounds at once.
