ANd this from the only German-occupied country that didn't allow a single one of its Jews to die at Auschwitz?

Guess they like their new "Asian" guests.

Looks like the Danes are trying to appease their new muslim overlords.

It’s very sad considering the length the Dean’s went to protect the Jews and World war II helping them to escape to Sweden.

Maybe if the Jewish people weren’t to be mentioned in this new “bible”—the anti- semitism would end? It would be difficult yo teach anti- semitism without mentioning the intended target

So did the “Bible Society” change the Quran too?

Like adding Jerusalem’s name 900 times instead of once (al Quds)?

How about the Old Testament too then? I heard a televangelist during a sermon saying Jesus walk some road in Palestine.

That’s right “teach” about Yeshua while wiping out the theological history and the source of that history that precedes the life of Yeshua on this earth, the historical society unto which Yeshua was gifted by G-d to the world.

What could possibly be wrong with that? /sarc

Theologically, we do not get the one-universal G-d and G-d’s one-to-one personal relationship with the individual from just anywhere. We get it from an understanding that preceded Abraham and left’s its mark on Abraham so profoundly that Abraham and what he understood founded a tribe, that grew into a whole distinct people, that went on to found a nation, into which G-d gifted humanity with Yeshua the Christ. Yeshua was not born into just any body of people in just any time, in just any place.

Any group who cuts Israel out of the New Testament, and believes that is the right thing to do, should not consider themselves Christians.

Re: There are other significant problems with this translation, including the removal of words like “sin,” which becomes watered down to a mere “mistake.” As the Bible Society explained, “it does not use the usual Danish words for sin, grace, mercy, covenant and many other typically biblical words, which an average Danish reader would not be familiar with the meaning of.”

Wow! Even translations made for previously unreached people groups do not avoid conveying the Biblical ideas of these important theological terms. What does that say about the Danish people? That they are too dense and ignorant to comprehend actual Biblical concepts? I think not.
