When only a precious few early test packs were ready, they tested Congress (!!) and basketball teams! What a statement on priorities. Many hospital and ambulance people were denied tests until more were available. Remember the early stories of one basketball player turning from laughing skeptic to pitiful victim?
BUT at Henry Ford Hospital and Beaumont Hospital in MI, to name two, nurses begged for tests due to obvious symptoms and were denied, 3 times for one and 4 times for the other---and they died of the virus. Supposedly too few test kits.
