Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden leads President Trump in a new national poll that shows a reversal in the race amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Forty-four percent of respondents in the USA Today–Suffolk University poll said they backed the former vice president, while 38 percent said they supported Trump.
The last USA Today–Suffolk poll showed Trump leading Biden by 3 points in December 2019. Biden was in the middle of a crowded presidential primary late last year, while Trump was dealing with the House impeachment inquiry into his past conversations with the president of Ukraine.

As always add at least 10 points to Trump due to the silent Trump supporter. Plus there seems to be an a large number of undecideds who once they actually hear from Biden in person will run the other way.

I’m speaking from personal experience, FRiend. And as someone who worked in a steel mill for quite some time.
Most blue-collar guys I know are pro-military and self-reliant. You would expect them to be Republicans. But they are not. They are Democrats because grandpa was an FDR Democrat and dad was a JFK Democrat.
They went for Trump in 2016 because they saw through Hillary’s fakery. And Trump said that good jobs would be coming back to the region (they haven’t, by the way).
Those guys - especially the older ones - are quite fond of Biden, just because. Unfortunately, Biden will take some of their votes. No doubt about it.
Well, I argue that his time it may in fact be different.
That difference results in a change in the black vote. Every black vote for Trump is a vote off the excess Democrat popular vote.
It is said that 34% of blacks support the President. I can’t confirm that but even if the number is only 15 or 20 % of change in the black vote ‘Rats have an insurmountable problem
I don’t think Biden has any enthusiasm among black voters
The Trump Team should DEMAND that Joe shows up to all 3 Presidential Debate locations, in person, and all debates should take place STANDING UP. They need to stand up for hours if need be. Trump is built for standing up until the cows come home; Biden is not. This will show Biden's physical weaknesses, which will then turn up in his coherence (non-existent) and in his abilities to answer the questions and to debate Trump.
The Trump Team also needs to make sure that Biden is not wearing an earpiece in any of the stages where they'll be debating because, as we have seen for the past 2 weeks or so, Biden cannot string 2 sentences together without reading stuff from a paper or being told things over his earpiece. Even with the latter, he still stumbles on words and phrases.
Trump needs to be a LEADER and go for the JUGULAR. He exudes STRENGTH and should use it. No more Mr. Nice Guy. He needs to drive this home. Nov. will be here before we know it. The fake MSM will not touch Biden with a 10-foot pole, but Trump will. This is the reason why, for some reason, I believe that the Biden Team will try to cancel or curtail the Presidential Debates to having them done remotely or some other way, while separated. There is NO WAY ON EARTH that they want Biden on the same stage with Trump one time -- never mind two and three times.
The black vote will be key on the rusy belt states. Biden os going to run up huge margins that don’t matter in the Blue states, but hiw weaknesss amoung Latnos well likely hurt him in NV.
I think the debates are going to be worth watching. Biden will get trounced.
I wonder if Joe will have an earpiece and someone will recite the answers to him. He will botch that big time but I do not put it past the democrats to do this.

Seems like we have a fresh cycle of pure BS coming out to demoralize people. Biden might as well be as relevant as Ginsberg but don’t tell that to the left.
But there is another demographic that we have to worry about this, time - suburban white women.
