Neither do tyrants apparently.
F.U. Gavin!!
I know why Kimberly left him.
Another leftist petty tyrant in a rage to see free people making their own decisions, living their own lives.
Wait till the sales tax numbers show up next week.
California is f*cked
Commies never stop, even for a millisecond.
This is what happens, guv, when you over reach.
Comments and Navin Gruesome ALERT! 1) Face 2) Words (lots of them) 3) Deeds (lots of them. “N” dossier. List grievances. Build case. FF were smart.
“California Gov. Gavin Newsom sent a clear message” which thousands of citizens have chose to ignore en mass because they know that it’s impossible for Newsom’s jackbooted thugs to arrest that many people, namely Newsome’s “clear message” is impossible to enforce ... and once enough people figure that out, the rein of the tin-pot Democrat dictators will come to a screeching halt ...
the virus may not take weekends off, but we sure wish some of these d*** politicians would
People are just going to start ignoring him. There’s no way there are enough CHP officers to keep people in line with his edicts if he decides to try to use force.
How dare the people live their lives and make their own decisions. How dare they..
The People are turning on you Gavin.
Virus’ have been killing people since at least 1967.
There was a virus going ‘round; papa caught it, and he died last spring
And now mama doesn’t seem to want to do much of anything
And me, I spend a lot of time pickin’ flowers up on Choctaw Ridge
And drop them into the muddy water off the Tallahatchie Bridge
Democrat-owned Common Core evidently overlooks practical math and science examples like the exponential rising of Social Security budget and likewise spread of a virus.
Insights welcome.
Send “Orange Man Bad” federal and state government Democrats and RINOs home in November!
Supporting PDJT with a new patriot Congress and state government leaders that will promise to fully support his already excellent work for MAGA and stopping COVID-19 will effectively give fast-working Trump a third term in office imo.
MAGA, also KAGA! (Keep America Great Always!)
This puke and many other leftist pukes, scaredy-cats, and obey government zombies, are going to find out this the rates wont in increase much, if at all.
All this lock-down crap was a plan to see how far the American people would be pushed.
More accurately.....
California governor frustrated at images of crowded beaches: 'This virus doesn't take the weekends off' that he finds out he can't control people like he wants.
For those new to the data, I standardize each municipality's cumulative COVID-19 fatality count per GitHub by its population, then multiply the resulting quotient by the US' population of 329MM to put everyone on a common/US scale. I then index each municipality's time-series to Day 1, where their size-adjusted fatality count is right before it breaches 1,000 people. This corrects for what I call the "Golf Problem" where broadcasts of the Masters etc have to show not only each golfer's score, but which hole they're at. I also list the Day 1 date and the population for reference. I've posted the history back to Day 1 on my About page.
Note for the US as nation, that Day 1 is March 25, which means Day 33 is April 26 for that row of data. You can do the math for the other municipalities to find out what Day XX means for them in calendar times; as a general rule, the last actual data point is the freshest date, but on a Golf timeline it gives each municipality's score as of the "33rd hole."
The sort order is Day 33, broadly. For the states' data, I sort by Day 31 (which effectively is Day 33 for those states with data for Day 33); if a state hasn't played the 31st hole, the sort order is Day 25.
The international ranking of the US hasn't changed in a long time. Sweden and the Netherlands' "hands off" approach hasn't yielded fewer fatalities; whether or not Sweden has wrecked their economy is in disupute.
Stateside, for Day 33 the municipalities with higher adjusted fatalities than the US as a whole remain New York (Blue), New Jersey (Blue), Connecticut (Blue), Massachusetts (Blue), Michigan (Red), Louisiana (Red) and District of Columbia (Blue), respectively.
A comment about California. As of Day 31, CA had the third-lowest size-adjusted fatality total. Her total was about one-quarter that of the nation as a whole. There is no statistical reason for her to be closed. Drill, baby, drill!!
Pray for all those impacted.
