Cuomo has come under increasing criticism for a March 25 directive requiring nursing homes to accept coronavirus patients. The directive read, in part (original emphasis): “No resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the NH [nursing home] solely based on a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19. NHs are prohibited from requiring a hospitalized resident who is determined medically stable to be tested for COVID-19 prior to admission or readmission.”
The policy is being scrutinized more closely as some 25% of the state’s fatalities from coronavirus have occurred in nursing homes.
Critics argue that the state should not have put coronavirus patients in facilities housing the elderly, who are the most vulnerable to the illness. New Jersey and California have similar policies.
Cuomo has insisted that it is the nursing homes’ responsibility to refer patients to the state department of health, or to other facilities, if they cannot care for those patients.

I don’t think this is a story that can be hidden or ignored in the coming after-action review for the nation.
The media can hide and obscure many things, but families have a right to answers and from what I have seen the directors of these nursing home facilities are not shy about giving them this information.
The clear lesson in all of this is that:
AMERICANS MUST DISAVOW/DESTROY THE DEMOCRAT PARTY!
Responsibility belongs to you, Cuomo.
If the nursing homes are at fault, why did Cuomo and Albany protect them from both criminal and civil action as relates to WuFlu using legislation contained in the new budget...?

Agree. This blame thing is the equivalent of a picture of some 2-bit politician holding up a little baby to protect himself from an assassin’s bullet.
The only surprise here is that the media even asked this question. Of course they’ll never follow up on it.
That part in the directive is even underlined emphasis.
At this point I think Andy is a deliberate murderer. One of those psychos who will do anything to get ahead.

My understanding is that these nursing homes, to a one, loudly protested the assignment of CV-19 patients upon first learning of Cuomo’s order. What a shameless and transparent effort to deflect blame for his own blunder!

Not to mention, Cuomo had access to the entire 1,000 bed US Navy Comfort hospital ship, which he failed to utilize.
The media has to be fried for this. We need to push this point with everyone we talk to about this—libs don’t know about it, and “Da Nooz” will NOT tell them. We have to push it one person at a time. Why did Cuomo do this, why is he blaming the nursing homes, and why DON’T our friends know about it?

Note that the mandate was issued on March 20, 2020 by none other than gov. Cuomo his very self. After it had been shown that Covid-19 affecting mostly the elderly and health vulnerable/compromised individuals?
Imagine him being the next potus as Democrats dream, that's how Andrew Cuomo going to shift blames for what he himself has done.
Given the clear wording of his directive, one can only deduce that St. Andrew cannot read.
