Sy Rogers, Pastor Known for Overcoming Homosexuality, Has Died

Sy Rogers, a pastor and former president of Exodus International, has died. Rogers, 63, was notable in the evangelical world for leaving a homosexual and transsexual lifestyle behind to follow Christ. Rogers had been battling kidney cancer; he went to be with God on Monday, April 20, 2020.

“I’ve lost a friend, and we’ve all lost a giant,” Joe Dallas, author and ministry leader, wrote in a tribute to Rogers.

If anyone isn’t familiar with Sy’s testimony, life story and ministry, I’d encourage you to look him up online. A very dynamic speaker, and an absolute enemy of his former buddies in the Gaystapo, who are now dancing on his grave.

When you admit you are a sinner and accept Jesus as your savior, He takes on your sin as His and remembers yours no more - blotted out for all eternity.

Now the wages of sin is death, but through Jesus who defeated death you can have everlasting life. With Him.

Now, you still have to deal with the earthly consequences of sin (jail time, divorce, aids), but those sins are no longer fatal. To you.
