I believe they need unanimous approval to approve the next PPP phase (without a roll call vote), otherwise they need to physically come back and vote. If she votes no, she may force a majority to come back to vote. They will LOVE that!
They are likely removing her District already.
Nancy’s problem. Maybe she can bribe AOC with some expensive chocolate ice cream!

This goes on too long, it will destroy numerous small producers and cap up thousands of wells. I’m in the Bakken oil field. Small businesses are already cutting losses and leaving the game.

Democrats are using this incident to implement Universal Basic Income (UBI), which would be the biggest redistribution of wealth in US history, and the collapse of the economy.

AOC is the first to go public but I guarantee that dem governors far and wide are going to raise taxes to unheard of levels. Folks, we’re getting a depression. I hate to say it, I’m sick to my stomach but I see the gameplan now. I sure hope I’m wrong but it looks pretty clear to me what they want and how they’ll get it.

Even most Democrats are smart enough to know that tax hikes in this environment will be completely counter-productive. If anything, I would expect to see TAX HOLIDAYS implemented at the state and local levels to keep businesses solvent.

Yeah Lets put a tax on bankruptcy. I think a tax on everyone who is employed by the governments would work. They are the ones with money.

I respectfully disagree. Blue states tend to be up to their eyeballs in debt to the government unions. The pension and healthcare costs for all those government workers are insane. Those same states are taking in virtually no revenue from gas tax, from sales tax, casino tax, etc etc. They will not be able to meet those obligations to the unions without new taxes. Which they want anyway so all they need is a fig leaf of a reason to justify it and the pension obligations gives it.
They will raise taxes and destroy the economy and then use their recently acquired super powers to declare another emergency, this time economic.

The only “pitch” I want to see associated with this piece of moronic trash is to pitch her over the side of a tall building. Unfortunately, if she landed on her pointy head, no damage would be incurred, because there’s nothing there to harm.

Hmmmmmm? I wonder! What are the odds that AOC is already a millionaire? Congress critters love taxes, they can attach a raise for themselves on every bill that goes through.
