SEATTLE Thousands of people gathered at the Washington state Capitol to protest Gov. Jay Inslees stay-at-home order designed to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
In Olympia on Sunday, some protesters wore masks, while others waved American flags.
The Washington State Patrol said an estimated 2,500 people showed up to the protest. No arrests were made.
Tyler Miller, one of the organizers of the event, had said rural areas should be treated differently than more urban locations with more coronavirus cases.
Earlier Sunday, Inslee decried President Donald Trumps call to liberate parts of the country from social-distancing decrees, saying Trump is fomenting a potentially deadly insubordination before the pandemic is contained.
The latest statewide death toll as reported by the Department of Health had reached 634 deaths among 11,790 confirmed coronavirus cases as of 11:59 p.m. Saturday.
Heres a breakdown of some of the counties with the highest totals: King County has 346 deaths among 5,135 cases; Snohomish County has 94 deaths among 2,101 cases; and Pierce County has 32 deaths among 1,109 cases.

How many of the 2500 were infected when they went to protest, how many will be infected in five to ten days?
It’s a fact the virius has hit the city areas much much worse......these Governors who want all citizens ‘to wait’ until the cities are virus free are just insane!
well you could figure the % out by the data that’s avaiable.
And what is the Dollar amount
You place on
Each Death?
In the past, they actually understood not to shut everyone down equally, just focus on the real hotspots while pushing for the less affected areas to keep working.
What does a week to ten days in a hospital cost?
How much of that cost will be paid by the taxpayers?
Bump
Its a fact the virius has hit the city areas much much worse.....
Yes, and gathering in a group of 2500 in a small area creates the density of an urban area.
well...all you have to do is watch Cuomo, who can’t stand the thought the rest of the country will be doing business before his state does. He was quick from the beginning saying everybody had to be on the same page. He screwed NY and as usual wants te rest of the country to suffer for his bad decisions.........
...and that’s exactly how some people are looking at this..they can’t stand it others are going back to work when they can’t.
A great deal less then the states staying closed up.....allot less!
Let's hope it is zero. Are you with me?
You are so transparent its laughable.
So what?.....they’re not living together daily as an infected area. The attended an protest.
We all hope it is zero, but statistics would suggest that out of 2500 people, more than zero would be infected.
My first thoughts are these demoloser governors are going to whine about not having emough police to deal with the peasants.
And the need for more protection gear for...the police.
More social networks monitoring. ..
More chinese drones...
Bigger fines...
Release felony criminals. ..to make room for Jimmys parents...
It is good they are outside, but there is still a risk of transmission.
I am not sure what point you are trying to make. Generally, most government regulations are based on the value of a life is $150,000 to $200,000. For instance, if a fire suppression system on an aircraft can be shown to cost less than $200,000 per theoretical life saved, the manufacturer will be required to install the system on the airplane. Interesting enough, in the nuclear power industry, the value of a life is about one million dollars. People make economic decisions on safety all the time. There is no doubt that that a Ford F150 is a safer vehicle than a Toyota Prius, but a Prius is cheaper and more economical to operate.
.....”gathering in a group of 2,500 in a small area creates the density of an urban area.”......
The population in my area is 13,500.....we’ve had 12 people hospitalized to date and 5 deaths ....
Stuff it
