A delay by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in quickly making coronavirus test kits available was the result of a glaring scientific breakdown at the CDA central lab, The Washington Post reported. The Post reported that CDC facilities that assembled the testing kits violated sound manufacturing practices, resulting in contamination of one of the three test components used in the highly sensitive detection process. James Le Duc, a virologist and former CDC officer who now heads the Galveston National Laboratory in Texas, told The Post that the situation was really a terrible black mark on the CDC, and the impact was devastating to the country.

And now the Democrat party and their partisans in the media are trying to blame Trump for "the lack of tests". We know that the real reason is that the FDA and CDC were in the way, and that Trump was the reason that they were told to stand aside and let the private sector and universities do the job that CDC failed at.
Maybe instead of worrying about criminalizing vaping the CD-f’ing-C should have been doing the job they were actually charged with doing?
Accident?
Note no one brings up sabotage...
A bunch of cronies and diversity hires showing up everyday for great salaries and benefits were suddenly called to do actual work and immediately dropped the ball when a pandemic came calling.
What else would you expect from an entrenched Govt. bureaucracy??....they just need a bigger budget and more people to fix the problem..../s
Yes!!
Uh huh, another on purpose accident.
CDC: You had ONE JOB!
I thought this info was out at least a few weeks ago.
With WuFlu Quarantine....it's like Groundhog Day, every day.
Lol
not unusual
big history of shoddy practices at high level cdc facilities
Just another reason big bureaucracies suck
a glaring scientific breakdown at the CDC central lab.
Yeah, right. Everyone knows that the CDC rejected the test kits, because CDC rejects everything that does not follow CDC and WHO timelines. The test kits were fine but too early for CDC.
CDC is defeated. Close the doors, say goodbye to WHO and start supporting local hospitals.
Note no one brings up sabotage...
I was thinking the same thing, with ‘rats everywhere in the government, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone did it on purpose to make the president look bad.
No reporter is going to ask that. Cause it would shed light on the truth, can’t have that
“And while the part of the test that was compromised was not critical to detecting the coronavirus”
Saying there was a delay without saying when the production line stopped to correct? Downtime report please.
Also known as “asset intensity” per Nestle.
Im thinking Chinese spies...
Its a bit outlandish but...
(2014) CDC says it improperly sent dangerous pathogens in five incidents in past decade...
The release of the CDC report comes days after government officials discovered decades-old vials of smallpox in a building on the Bethesda campus of the National Institutes of Health. The vials were flown to the CDC on Monday, and Frieden said Friday that two of the six vials labeled as smallpox have shown growth in tissue cultures, meaning the samples are viable, or alive. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health-science/cdc-says-it-improperly-sent-dangerous-pathogens-in-five-incidents-in-past-decade/2014/07/11/acd55bfc-0882-11e4-a0dd-f2b22a257353_story.html
