Something went wrong during the update process and we're trying to work it out now with their tech support dept. Hopefully, this will be very soon, meanwhile we may get security warnings on our site.
Hang in there.
It’s working on my phone.
Did you try turning it off, and then waiting 20 seconds and turning it on, again? ;)
*SMOOCH*
You don’t seem to be using https - I don’t think you ever have, right?
I keep hearing we’re all in this together. :)
Yeah, my Bitdefender picked it up as well as Firefox. Just bypassed it.
I got the warning, but kept trying. Thx for your note here.
Thanks for letting us know about the problem. About a half-hour ago, I clicked to reload the forum page and got an alert notice that the connection was not private. I closed out Safari, and reopened it, and used my normal bookmark for FR, and it connected fine.
Yes, just went through resetting the clock etc but
finally got through by waving the security warning.
No problem here on any browser.
Got a warning that my computer clock was fast, won’t let me bypass. I switched to chrome where the site still works for some reason.
CC
Yep. Got the warning.
Went back to an older page.
Thanks for the heads up, boss.
Whatever that means, I’m innocent, have been home the whole time and I can prove it!!
I’m sure other FReepers will vouch for my character
Seems to be a Safari issue right now.
I received that warning but considering I’ve been coming here every day for 16 years with no issues, I disregarded without a second thought.
After 33 posts, Im surprised to not see a single Are you logged in?!
I couldn’t get in so I went to the address bar in the browser and removed the “S” from “HTTPS”. Then I hit return and everything works. Although now it just shows “www.freerepublic.com” And unsecured.
Yep,. The S indicate secure if I’m not mistaken.
I also went to Drudge and clicked the FR link there and it worked
“I just got on using Google Chrome. No problems and no warning about an unsecured site.”
I wouldn’t call that a good thing. It just proves that Chrome is unsafe.
All I see is: WWW.Freerepublic.com/perl/ ........
But, but, but, but my motorboat was workin just fine.
