Three years to revive an economy, create roaring circumstances. It took less than two months to wipe it all out. Twenty-two million people filing for unemployment compensation — 22 million — and the idea that there is not an angry outcry from all over the world that this must stop?

That outcry had better happen, because this… We’re beyond now saying this is unsustainable. This is untenable! This is cataclysmic! We’re in the midst of a self-created disaster that we could fix (snap, snap, snap) at the snap of our fingers.

The insane decision to shut down the economy has resulted in 22 million jobs lost (in just the past 3 weeks) and will likely result in 30+ million before we bottom. Many of those losses are permanent and the longer we take to restart the economy to full throttle the greater the damage will be.

If it would get rid of Trump, and the democrats would emerge in charge, the democrats would have no problem with another great depression.

Have you considered this...Those many die every year and they have a vaccine for the flu?
Does this mean that even if they have a coronavirus vaccine thousands of people will die every year from it anyhow?

Those that tried to convince everybody that a “V recovery” would happen once we got going again are about as credible as those that were claiming 2.2 million lives would be lost in the US due to CV19. This is going to be a very ugly and bumpy recovery.

Just heard on Los Angeles radio KFI am that there are FIVE COUNTIES IN CALIFORNIA WITH ZERO CASES OF CV yet they are still in total lock down as if they were Disney Park, Casino, in NYC...

I think a lot of the jobs will come back, girlfriends shop fired about 20% about half that needed to be fired anyway, they are using this to take care of that now but will bring back the others when it picks back up.
I don't think things are going to completely tank but it will take a year or two to clean up.

Agreed. The leftist/socialist democrats are fully on board with the idea that "the ends justifies the means." They've deluded themselves into the notion that they know best. That only they can save the children, save the world, etc. etc. So when the ends are their being in power, to them that justifies any means.

Sacrifice tens of millions of jobs? Crush American power so we cannot act unilaterally on the world stage? Expand government control? Make tens of millions of Americans dependent or more dependent upon government? These are all good things in the socialists' eyes. To them this pandemic is 100% upside. This is the best thing that has happened for the left since bammy was elected, maybe even better than that. I guarantee you behind closed doors these {censored} are celebrating.
