Dem Gov Polis in Colorado is busily making announcements about how Colorado will get back to business ...
I would just LOVED to have been a fly on the telephone in some of the conference calls with the govs and white house the last couple of days ... i think pence handled most of those, but trump was on some, and I would have loved to see how they demonstrated all of the many possible carrots and sticks ... our President Trump is a TRUE LEADER, something this country is simply not used to ...

I’m afraid Trump’s announcement tonight is going to be a big disappointment. I suspect he’s just going to cede everything to the insane governors and step out of the picture.
I wish he would invoke the DPA (Defense Production Act) which would allow him to restart certain major industries, in any state. This would force the governors to have to reopen the supporting businesses.
Dragging this out is insane but it looks like he’s going to let that happen..
I think it’s probably necessary. The more we are hearing that this was an accidental release of a virus - we have to assume that it was either manipulated or not accidental.
If that’s the case, we cannot respond to it like a normal coronavirus. I’m not sure what the happy medium is. Trump may do the right thing by opening the economy and “letting” another 50,000 people die. But it may also cost him the election.
He’s in a very, very tough spot. (Politically)

President Trump doesn’t actually need to TELL them anything, all he has to do is sit back and let them watch the states like Texas and Florida open back up, have booming economies, resumed tax revenue, and happy citizens, while they watch their own states crumble into instant irrelevance, bankruptcy and rioting citizenry ...

I suspect he will try and get the 20 or 29 states up and running first with certain restrictions and then start getting the problem states going. It is going to take a lot of work to get some of the states going and a lot of buy in from the people of these states.
