President Trump on Wednesday questioned Mayor Bill de Blasio’s revised coronavirus death toll — a day after New York City revised how it tracks fatalities by adding more than 3,700 victims who died of apparent coronavirus symptoms and were never tested.
“I see this morning where New York added 3,000 [sic] deaths because they died. Rather than [a] heart attack, they say heart attack caused by this,” he said during the daily briefing of the Coronavirus Task Force, referring to COVID-19.
Responding to a question about the staggering US death toll, which topped 27,000 Wednesday, the president suggested that the Big Apple added the new deaths to the tally “just in case” the victims had the virus.

The Headline is a flat out lie.
How so? Isn’t that exactly what NYC did?

They were never confirmed to have the virus..someone drops dead of a heart attack but coughs before he dies, they label that as coronavirus..yeah NY is padding the stats because of the bill passed, every single coronavirus case gives states a crapload of money
Nowhere in this statement does President Trump accuse NYC of padding the numbers. He just stated that they added more deaths to the tally.
These were mostly deaths of people who died alone in non-hospital settings (streets, SROs, even apartments). Many of them can’t even beidentified and thus are sent to the Potters Field on Hart Island. NYC has 7-8 million people, and hundreds die every day.
So if they died alone, how does anybody know what their “symptoms” were? As I said elsewhere, I guess unless you have tire tracks across your middle or have blown the top of your head off, you’re classified as a COVID death.
And it’s all about getting federal bucks.
One death in my county attributed to covid-19.
A 56 year old female that had leukemia passed was tested positive for covid-19. ( only 6 positive test results otherwise)
How convenient....since we federal taxpayers are picking up the medical expenses of coronavirus victims now. So they can make us pay for more of their illegals and indigents.
I am beginning to believe that NY State is padding its new case lists. Today, 10K new cases after two days of 6K. 10K new cases on 24K new tests. And NY almost always adds new cases, 1K to 2K just before Worldometer is about to turn over to a new day. And Finally... why is absolutely no one asking why NY and NJ have so many more cases by a factor of 4 or 5 than any state in the nation.
Ask the Department of Justice to investigate Cuomo and de Blasio for criminal negligence.
While you are at it, Mr. President...

Right. The extra money we taxpayers give to NYC for supposed virus deaths is a tempting thing to leftists.
Remember they get money for every K-12 boy who has some form of identified Attention Deficit problem. So administrator Bill says to budget planner Mabel: “Uh, if we had 842 more boys with it system wide our school system budget would be balanced. Let’s find some problem boys.” That happens, I have read.
Government grants have corrupted this country.
Schools, universities, the health industry from pharmaceuticals to hospitals to doctors.
Research has also been corrupted....

Agreed. We sat right here and heard his statement. It was in no way accusatory. We felt he understood the true nature of their deaths.
At risk of stirring up things here, the reality is - this virus CAN be the straw that broke the camels back for individuals of all ages, with conditions that they live VERY good lives - everyday - BEFORE they contracted Covid-19.
Their diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, whatever - was more than likely, very well controlled, until the virus overwhelmed their entire system.
May God guide and strengthen the President, in his fight for US.
