Former NFL quarterback Tarvaris Jackson has died in a one-car crash outside Montgomery, Ala., authorities said Monday, April 13, 2020. He was 36. The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro that Jackson was driving went off the road, struck a tree and overturned at 8:50 p.m. Sunday, Trooper Benjamin Michael Carswell, an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency spokesman, said in a news release. Jackson was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Former Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson, whose toughness as a starter to play through injury in 2011 and willingness to adapt to a backup role when the team won the Super Bowl in the 2013 season endeared him to teammates and coaches alike, has died in a car accident at age 36.
Jackson played four seasons in two stints with Seattle as part of a 10-year NFL career. He was killed in a single-vehicle crash at 8:50 p.m. Sunday roughly seven miles from his native Montgomery, Ala., according to a news release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
B.J. Daniels, who served on the practice squad, as a third quarterback and receiver/special-teamer with the Seahawks from 2013-15, tweeted: Tarvaris Jackson was my mentor! He played the game with dignity and taught me how to use my MIND to manipulate the defense. When my family couldnt make it to Seattle for holidays, it was TJACK who invited me to his house to celebrate with his family!

In b4 the “he died of Covid” post.
Hmmm, did a search on ‘Tavaris’ but it didn’t come up. Must’ve misspelled it. :-(
We can’t open the economy until we find a cure for the CARS virus. /s
Close, but I drove around it! ;-) :-D
Next time copy/paste!
You beat me.
I would have said he died because of Covid. It doesn’t matter if he was in a car accident. All deaths are Covid.
Why would you search for Tavaris?
Condolences to his family and friends.
“Another thread if anyone is interested in reading the comments there on.”

It likely was weather related. I’m well-versed in the little wrinkles Rt. 231 in Pike Road can throw at you even on a good day, and the report said it happened about 9 last night - just about the time some Queen Mother thunderstorms were rolling through there. Man, it was noisy last night.
Was that a Corvette?
Nope. Think it was a Camaro.
I’ve been telling the government to cut down the trees for
Another Coronavirus death
