It Begins – East and West Coast Blue States Team Up To Begin Economic Civil War…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 13 Apr 2020 | Sundance

Posted on 04/13/2020 4:18:24 PM PDT by Politically Correct

It seemed clear several weeks ago this was going to happen. East coast blue state governors and West coast blue state governors are uniting to begin the economic civil war planning to block any White House effort to re-open the U.S. economy.

The three step plan seems predictable: (1) Get out ahead of President Trump. (2) Defy the ‘all clear’ and shape economic benefit to their political allies. (3) Then use Fauci’s upcoming dossier to hit the administration for heartlessly opening the economy too early.

♦ On the East Coast the governors of New York (Cuomo), New Jersey (Murphy), Connecticut (Lamont), Pennsylvania (Wolfe), Delaware (Carney) and Rhode Island (Raimondo) have started assembling their economic war council with the intent to keep the northeast region shut down. Controlling critical ports and infrastructure is a key part of their strategy.

EAST COAST — Six Northeast governors will form a working group to come up with a plan to restart [control] the regional economy, they announced on Monday.

♦ On the West Coast the governors of California (Newsom), Oregon (Brown) and Washington State (Inslee) are also assembling their economic war council for similar intents and purposes. Combined with their political northeastern allies, controlling two-thirds of U.S. ports will give them a strategic advantage to keep choking the economy until after they can install their commanding general in the White House.

WEST COAST – The governors of Washington, California and Oregon on Monday announced they were working on a joint plan for reopening [controlling] their states’ respective economies once it is safe to lift coronavirus-related restrictions.

It appears the Governors did not want to assemble their plans openly; however, they rushed to publicity to avoid their enemy, U.S. President Donald Trump, striking strategically against their schemes. During this economic war residents within the Blue occupied territories will be held captive to the political whims of their regional generals.

The economic freedom and liberty zone will encompass the Red region. The center of the country, mid west, southern region (surrounding the Gulf of Mexico) and south eastern Atlantic region. These areas will be open to commerce and economic freedom.

However, the urban dense populations (Blue pockets within Red zones) will push-back against the efforts of the Red generals in an attempt to retain alignment with their Blue team generals. Depending on the strength of the urban forces there may be roadblocks, sabotage, skirmishes and political violence against the freedom & liberty Red team.

Red captives within the Blue zones will have to be smart and strategic. Big Blue tech will be assisting the totalitarian Blue generals. Direct confrontation against the Blue forces should be avoided, and it will likely be a better strategy to fight stealthily as insurgents.

Any Red team member of the economic freedom alliance, trapped within a Blue region, is warned to evaluate their connection to their electronic devices. Your cell phones could be used as portable transponders expose your movement and your political views.

This is going to be one hell of a battle. A Spring and Summer conflict like we’ve never seen in the history of U.S. politics outside of actual, physical, civil war. Fortunately for team freedom and liberty, this time the Red zones control most of the citizen armory.

To stop the return of the manufacturing of products back to the US that went to China. China backers here who’s family members are making millions from China through their political connections will be hit hard are also claiming that Trump’s alleged stock ownership in a quinine pills maker claim its a controlling interest in a product to be totally ineffective and when used requires a severe restriction of movement when near any possible carrier known as a shutdown (which has destroyed small businesses) because of the alleged CCWV (Chinese Communist Wuhan Virus) rapid transmission .

But are they able to explain away this finding from a reliable source ?

They can’t do this anyway. The Constitution specifically forbids the states from forming pacts or compacts with other states.

I like Conservative Tree House a lot but I disagree with their analysis. With summer coming up the Schiaff has hit the fan. People with summer properties need to rent them. People with summer businesses want to open them up.

School taxes and real estate taxes are due this month in lots of districts. Citizens are wondering when schools, parks and playgrounds will open up. The lock down has cost the states lots of lost tax revenue.

When the weather gets nice it will be almost impossible to maintain the quarantine. With no bread and circuses things could get ugly. The govs know they better start opening things up.

The governors blinked and Trump won another round. This is their only chance to save face and take credit.

Most of us are going along with National House Arrest for one reason only:

Trump asked us to.

One he pulls the rug out all bets will be off.

I agree.

All 57 states can unite. The president has all Authority Under a national emergency.

These Governors are acting like kindergarteners trying to hide from the teacher.

“Let those states shut down their parasite economies. “

Manufacturing is going to be coming back here pretty rapidly. If those states don’t want any part of it, that’s fine. Their choice.

But actually it’s not, the president has Authority Under a national emergency. They have nothing but their petty little cliques.

Yep. We found that out the hard way down South. They just wouldn’t go along with our little compact. Maybe if we’d not fired on that fort.........

“my father voted Democrat all his life and I will too”.

I find that a very peculiar attitude; my Mother was a REAL ROOSEVELT NEW DEAL DEMOCRAT voter.

Her daughter (my little sister) never voted in a single election in her entire life (she died about 6 years ago), she never voted.

My older Brother and I both grew up to be hyper conservative voters, voted Nixon, Reagan, Trump, and both of us will be voting TRUMP in this coming election.

We both loved MOM dearly, but we both thought she was brain damaged when it came to voting!

Well; if General Beauregard hadn’t taken that shot, and a few good Southern Senators had taken a shot of good whiskey and calmed down a little bit, that whole mess might have got straightened out without having to KILL over 600,000 good Americans.

CONFEDERATE/UNION; all the same to me, DAMN GOOD AMERICANS.

“It is eye-rolling how many times it’s used by people here.”

If the “people here” are posting an article with that title, it’s not the fault of “people here”.

Right off the top... the article assumes that the governors can shut down port facilities located within their states. It’s not clear to me that they can.

And isn’t it a little strange to characterize a confrontation between blocks of states that are closed down by internal orders as a ‘civil war’? Who would do that? I mean outside of Gaza and the West Bank?

As Mike Pence stated yesterday - when the Fake News folks doubted that Trump has the powers he says he has, under the conditions of today, never seen before, every entity (States/Territories, etc.) and the Federal Government have declared emergencies and that gives the President plenary power...as is backed by history.

The same folks who were howling for the President to enact/use the Defense production Act to force companies that he ordinarily have such control over, to manufacture specific items, now say he can't do what they insisted he do - wield that power and authority.

BTW - went out and ordered sheets and pillows from My Pillow yesterday to support a true patriot and good guy - who overcame a lot to get where he is today...

It’s used by both, and it’s annoyingly overused by conservatives as a whole.

Sorry if pointing that out offends you.
