Osceola residents leaving their homes will be required to cover their nose and mouth with a mask or cloth.
Osceola County leaders said Friday all residents will be required to cover their noses and mouths with a mask or cloth while out in public.
County chairwoman Viviana Janer announced the new rule at a Friday press conference in response to the increasing number of coronavirus cases in the county just south of Orlando.
“It’s not something we take lightly,” said Janer, stating the requirement is meant to protect the public from asymptomatic carriers. “The concern was preventing the spread from asymptomatic individuals. There has been some evidence of that in the community.”

The people will fall in line. If the oh so wise government decided it was necessary for all citizens to paint their butts blue and run naked down the street, the streets would be filled.
It’s so sad to see a people surrender liberty so easily.
They want you to wear a mask because they presume you are infected and asymptomatic and can spread the virus to others.
So...they want to bring you back to their jail WHY, exactly?

I dont understand these rules made up by petty faciests. Where in heck can one even find face masks anymore? No body has them in sti. Even Amazon cant get them to you before mid June.

I was at a Walmart in Osceola this morning and everyone was wearing masks.
As I was leaving A brassy girl wearing a New York shirt tried to enter and the doorman said I’m not letting you in and you better go home and get a mask or you’ll be arrested. I was overjoyed.
This area is filled with know it all New Yorkers who fled their lovely state. Disney has laid off 50 thousand people here and that’s why they mandatory order. If people are ever going to get their jobs back.....this virus has to be stamped out.

dictator speak in the extreme...so, if i lived there, and I went out for a walk by myself without the mask, am I in fact in violation of this idiotic dictate; and if some biddy calls the cops on me, I assume that I have the right to face my accuser...? because that person is going to hear from me when this is over...
I wonder what happens in 6 months, 12 months, whatever — when this whole this is over (it’s not going to last 500 years: it will eventually be over). What happens if people still wear masks everywhere. To the bank. To the liquor store. Facial recognition? Forget about it.
Will the authorities demand that we cannot leave home with a mask?

mostly females, but a good number of men fall into line quite compliantly; I had a row with a guy I know with whom I will not associate in the future about this nonsense, and he got a little too huffy in my estimation...
