Exactly correct. Most people assume CA will secede intact. People tend to forget that West VA was born when VA seceded.
I think everyone south of Orange County, east of the High Sierras and north of Sacramento would choose to stay in the US.
Don’t forget to give them a 12 mile buffer into the ocean and then start building oil rigs 12.5 miles off the coast.
This means all of California’s federal senators and representatives are out of a job. And when Mexico declares war on the nation of California Trump can negotiate with Newsome concerning the conditions of entering the war and returning to the union.
