Wisconsin Democrats chair bashes Supreme Court decision on voting: 'I am about to explode'

The chair of Wisconsin's state Democratic Party on Monday blasted a U.S. Supreme Court decision that required all absentee ballots be posted by Tuesday to be counted in the state's election.

Ben Wikler tweeted Monday afternoon that he was "about to explode" after the Supreme Court reversed a lower court's ruling ordering the state to accept absentee ballots sent any time before April 13, a move that was initially meant to expand participation in the primary during the coronavirus outbreak.

"I am about to explode. The five GOP US Supreme Court justices just overruled two lower courts and shut off extended absentee voting in Wisconsin," he tweeted.

"The Supreme Court of the United States legislated from the bench today, following Trump team's orders and writing a new election law to disenfranchise untold thousands of Wisconsin voters and consign an unknown number of Wisconsinites to their deaths," he added. "This is now etched into history. Donald Trump doesn't care how many of his followers die—and how many people they infect and kill—if it helps him maintain power."

A lot of them on the liberal blogs say it is time for them to pack the Supreme Court and take Republicans out of power in blue states completely.

Add to it that they didn’t likely get their usual GOTV on the college campuses...they wanted tp push this into the next school year so they could get their voters back.

I’ll be in line tomorrow. Can’t wait

We’re voting in person tomorrow, too. No cases in our county and I expect our precinct workers will show up.

What you need to understand is that these antics by our illustrious low energy governor and the Obama federal judge have nothing to do with the demon-crap primary and everything to do with the state Supreme Court election. The Democrats were counting on their usual advantage in early voting and mail-in ballots. We all know why that happens. Early in the season they also thought that the Democrat primary would provide a huge liberal turnout for the liberal SC candidate. As it so happens, the primary is already essentially settled. Later, when Corona came along, they knew that in-person voting on Tuesday would be all screwed up because of fear and lack of election officials, so the in-person voting that normally favors conservatives would instead produce a very low turnout. So, they were still in favor of letting the election stand as scheduled tomorrow. Late last week things started going sideways for them. The mail-in ballots were coming in heavily from traditionally red districts, and not so much from liberal Madison and Milwaukee counties. In their panic, they went to a federal Obama judge and he ruled that they had an extra week after the election to “count” dead peeople and whoever else they could muster from the 200,000 extra people that are on Wisconsin’s voter rolls. Of course a federal judge has no jurisdiction in a Wisconsin constitutional matter; but you know how Liberal judges are. In a related court case; our handpuppet libtard low energy governor Tony Evers, who never seems to know why he makes the decisions his handlers make for him, tried cancelling the election today and moving it to June, allowing for mail-in ballot casting the entire time until then. The Wisconsin supreme court struck him down 4-2, with Judge Kelly, the conservative judge on the ballot, abstaining. If Daniel Kelly triumphs over Lisa Neubauer, it will be another case of a conservative overcoming a vast funding gap. Pray for Trump, Kelly, MAGA, and stay safe.

It’s not just a primary. The bigger story is that there’s a key Wisconsin Supreme Court seat at stake in this election. I believe their justices are elected to ten-year terms.

#29. THe saying should be, “Harvest rats, not ballots”.

And as for this nut saying “I am about to explode”. Does that mean he is a follower of the “religion of pieces”?

Ah, Democrats that “go boom” in the night, like Bill Ayers, Kathy Boudin, Bernadine Dohrn, Diana Oughton, Robbins, and the other little SDS/Weatherman shit in the Brooklyn townhouse, March 1970 (Hey, we have something to celebrate - the 50th anniversary of communists blowing themselves up. Tell Wikler. He could join in if he wants to “explode”.

Mail in votes should always be postmarked before or on the day of the election.

If Kelly re-elected it keeps the 5-2 split in favor of conservatives.

While they are open primaries, Trump has already secured the Republican nomination. So all they could do is play games within the Democrat presidential primary. Which means they could only harvest votes for Biden or Sanders, picking the winner of that primary only.

Though they could play havoc I suppose in federal Congressional & Senate races. But again they would only be selecting the candidates who would appear in the general election. But they still can only vote in one of the two parties primaries. They can't vote in both.
