America’s major medical society specializing in the treatment of respiratory diseases has endorsed using hydroxychloroquine for seriously ill hospitalized coronavirus patients.

The American Thoracic Society issued guidelines Monday that suggest COVID-19 patients with pneumonia get doses of the anti-malaria drug.

“To prescribe hydroxychloroquine (or chloroquine) to hospitalized patients with COVID-19 pneumonia if all of the following apply: a) shared decision-making is possible, b) data can be collected for interim comparisons of patients who received hydroxychloroquine (or chloroquine) versus those who did not, c) the illness is sufficiently severe to warrant investigational therapy, and d) the drug is not in short supply,” the Thoracic Society said.

I have Afib, and I would not take ZPak now!

It kept me out of a hospital years ago. That was before I was diagnosed with Afib. It has worked great with younger family members with severe lower respiratory problems.

I see a lot of talk about hydroxychloroquine but very little talk about the azithromycin that’s supposed to go with it as a treatment.

use azithromycin 500mg and 220mg zinc sulfate.

The zinc in effect allows the lung cells to spread their legs and allow the Hydro to penetrate.

The azithromycin takes care of any VD that could come from spreading the legs.

If you wish to use this cocktail as a preemptive shield just cut back on the doses and repeat weekly (under your Doc’s instructions)

without an antibiotic like azithromycin patients can get lung infections (pneumonia)

Trump has a duty to NO longer allow Dr. Death his time at the microphone during these pressers, to offer nothing but his standard doom and gloom scenarios, and undercutting the proven effectiveness of Hydroxychloroquine in fighting this virus!

Fauci is undercutting Trump’s message of getting America back to work!

MY COMMENT:

1. Condition B. Looks like a double blind study to me. They are going to compare the results of patients who take HCQ with those who don’t.

2. Condition C. above is the most troubling to me. They want to wait until the symptoms are “sufficiebtly severe” before giving HCQ to the patient. They never define “severe”. What does it mean? Are They going to wait till the patient needs to be on a ventilator before starting this treatment? By that time, the lungs are probably already damaged.

It looks like they aren’t following the protocols presented by successful doctors like Dr. Raoult and Dr. Zekenko.

Both these successful doctors give HCQ to patients who exhibit symptoms earlier in the disease, not later. This is where the greatest success in significantly shortening hospital stay occurred.

“without an antibiotic like azithromycin patients can get lung infections (pneumonia)”

Yes, with all the reports not mentioning it, I’m beginning to wonder if they are including it in the hydroxychloroquine treatment testing.

The treatment is supposed to be both drugs taken together.

I agree. The protocol is to administer the HQC+zinc only when the patient is at death’s door with no hope of recovery. Hoping (and knowing) that it will fail in such dire circumstances.

Word to the wise, I took a Z-Pack prescription a couple of months ago and on the second day it gave me horrible diarrhea. Make sure you’re eating foods with probiotics such as yogurt cheese etc. or taking probiotic supplements to replace the normal gut bacterial that the Z-Pack will kill off.

I was prescribed a Z pack because of a horrible ear infection that was a secondary infection to a cold that lasted a few weeks and just would not go away. I suspect that I might have had the coronavirus. I hope that’s the case because now I would be immune.

Why are they recommending starting hydroxychloroquine AFTER pneumonia has set in?

Sorry to hear about your AFib and I wanted to let you know about an over-the-counter drug that might be as effective as a prophylactic against SARS-CoV-2.

One of the reasons that hydroxychloroquine is so effective is because it is a zinc ionophore. Why that is significant is because HCQ binds with zinc molecules and transports the zinc through the cellular membrane into the cytoplasm. Once the zinc enters the cell, it inhibits the replication of the virus by preventing it from hijacking the RNA sequencing mechanism of the cell to replicate itself.

There’s another products sold over-the-counter that is also a zinc ionophore. The name of that product is Quercitin. The problem with Quercetin is it has low bioavailability. That problem has recently being overcome and I would recommend to you purchasing a product called Quercetin Phytosome. Laboratory tests show that Quercetin Phytosome can increase the absorption rate of quercetin by 20 fold... so it should be much more effective acting as a zinc ionophore.

When purchasing some Quercetin Phytosome, you should also buy zinc citrate and take both as directed. Up to 40% of older adults have a zinc deficiency because their body is less effective at breaking down and absorbing the sink, so taking the zinc citrate ensures you have enough extracellular zinc to make a difference.

As in taking any medication or supplement, always check the label for side effects and contraindications as it relates to your own health. Good luck.

What Cuomo is doing, by denying people the right to get the lifesaving drug is tantamount to a governor going into a war torn state of a couple million people, where there is no food- and telling the people

“We have enough food for everyone, but because there have been no specific clinical trials showing the effectiveness of eating for staying alive, I’m only going to allow 1000 people to join a small clinical trial-

I forbid grocery stores from distributing food, and will only allow doctors in hospitals to distribute, in hospital, food to those they think might die within a few hours-”

“We should have study results soon- but in the meantime, I’ll declare that anecdotal evidence that eating sustains life isn’t scientific enough, and we have to wait for the results- whenever that might be, before we can start distributing food again, because some foods have proven to be possibly dangerous”

Z-Pak is not necessary but Zinc is vital.

HCQ + zINC.
