I have Afib, and I would not take ZPak now!
It kept me out of a hospital years ago. That was before I was diagnosed with Afib. It has worked great with younger family members with severe lower respiratory problems.
I have AFIB and took z=pak for cat bite and did not affect afib at all. Monitored with my Kardia. No effect.
