I will eat a Ham Sandwich today in his memory.
If he did not ask their forgiveness for unjustly prosecuting them during his long illness, he is sorry now.
I think you meant to say “prosecuted” but I imagine he persecuted Delay as well..
Indicted Kay Bailey right before the election and dropped it right after she was re-elected...similar suspect motives re Tom Delay. While I dont wish to disrespect the recently departed, I clearly remember how he did things as a public official.
This monster is the architect of today’s Democrat Party.
I remember meeting Tom in Oregon back in 2010.
You could see in his eyes how much his life had been damaged.
He was a b.i.t.c.h. of the first order.
Shopped around 3 times to get a Grand Jury to indict DeLay.
Hope he gets what’s coming to him.
“Hope he gets whats coming to him.”
He just did.
Dreadful individual. Prayers for a misguided soul.
He had a lousy batting average...but then he *was* a Rat.

I was about to point out the same about Kay, and like you, it happened yesterday to me also. He should have been INDICTED just for that stunt.
By the way, if you didn’t know, the reason he got so much power was due to the state needing to have a prosecutor’s office for state-wide officials, so they figured using the Travis County (Austin) DA’s office made sense. And it did, for a good 100 years, until Earle.
That’s how far the Dems have fallen. Thankfully, that Austin office has been terminated (as I understand) and replaced by something more representative of the state.
Is the ground under my feet feeling warmer? Did Hell just get a tad bit hotter? More fuel perhaps?
Good.
IIRC the Ten Commandments call it “bearing false witness”.
The lowlife scumbag will not be missed by any decent Texan.
Thumper from Bambi rule in effect
ditto!
