thanks, i didn’t realize that- still though, it’s not likely it was covid since it was before it really hit my state- I mean it’s possible i had it, but unlikely i think- a test will tell if they ever get it to my neck of the woods—
i didn’t really have the breathing problems with the crud- just very slight really- soem of the symptoms i had was really pretty slight- except the throwing up, chills, diarrhea and weakness- the headache, throat, fever were all slight- it was a weird flu
If you had a bottle of pills, and one out of ten thousand would kill you, but taking none would result in 20 deaths of despair across America, would you take the pill chance or let the 20 die?

I thought the same thing. It hit me fout days before Christmas. Single worst gastro I have ever had. Urgent care guy prescribed BRAT diet. Christmas Eve my intestines had stopped working. ER docs thought blockage but CT showed only empty air filled intestines. No food or drink for three days. Peristalsis returned. Went home on 5th day. Like nothing I had ever experienced.
Not only that....but the 1000 bed Naval Hospital is being run by the military, and the 2800 bed Javits Center hospital is also staffed by military.
So I bet that Trump and his team get a detailed daily report on the true state of NY hospitals.

yep it was a weird cold or whatever it was- nothing passed through for a day- then threw up at night, felt better, and everything worked fine the next day- and hurt- uggh- felt like needle stabbing in stomach- well glad you’re better- I guess that was one flu the flu shot didn’t cover lol

I think you and so many others are missing the point. It is not the end of the world to catch this virus UNLESS and PERHAPS if you are in that age group for which the mortality rate is highest and that is in folks 75+ AND who have pre existing conditions.
These are the folks who should be told to stay home. The younger and stronger need to be allowed to go to work exactly as they have done all the past years when we have our flu season.
This flu season over 30,000 have died from the common flu and in yrs past it was as high as 60-80 thousand right here in America and yet NEVER did we do anything resembling this. It was not necessary then and it is not necessary now. We have lost between 8-9 thousand people to this virus and even that number is suspicious since any death even remotely associated with the virus is deemed to have been caused by the virus. Even Italy has said only 12% of all those deaths blamed on this virus can be directly and solely blamed on it.
This is a deliberate attempt to crash not just our but the world economy and the reasons are purely political.
THis will come out in future days.

Cuomo has open borders, Downstate resembles a foreign country, they wanted diversity and they got it, along with massive welfare and sickness. It’s driving people out of New York in droves, numbers don’t lie.
