I posted this on another thread about Biden a few minutes ago, but it is relevant here. Also remember the old adage - you only have one President at a time - especially in times of crisis.

You know you are in a bad spot with your candidate when the majority of news coverage is about who will potentially replace him/her.

Biden has ZERO momentum. No fund raising. No relevance to a once in a lifetime crisis. No answers. No mantle of leadership. No inspiration. Nothing.

On top of that, in his limited appearances he is confused, incoherent, and appears lost.

They chose poorly and now they are stuck with an empty suit.

“They” (the DNC and Biden advisers) really think that getting Slow Joe in front of a TV camera and showing he can't think on his feet is really going to help them win the Presidency?

They are so delusional.

How is Joe Biden the answer to any of our problems?

He has zero official responsibility in any branch of government, why should he pretend like the ‘big man in charge’.

It’s clear Biden struggles. Go back to taking a nap, Joe.

The Trump campaign should offer to pay for an hour a night on primetime TV.

No one cares what Joe thinks.

He’s a nobody. Always has been.

“He doesn’t have real standing in this crisis.”

It’s The Crisis that they see as an OPPORTUNITY!

Hell is holding a special place for the base-tards.

Well, guess what PMSNBC? The media spends 100 times more negative talking about POTUS than Bidet, so if Trump actually gets some rebuttal time despite your best efforts, so what? It’s still a drop in the bucket. Go eff yourself and the typewriter you rode in on.

This is really an advantage for biden. The less visible he is, the better he looks. biden is a disaster and every time he is in public it becomes more obvious.

My advice to Mr. Biden: Go out onto your back porch. Fire two shotgun blasts into the air (use blanks, please). Keep doing this until people start noticing you again.

What a pickle Old Joe must be in.

He can remain silent and not appear "Presidential," or he can say something and appear even less Presidential.

Get out there Joe, and say something. The American people need to be reminded of how horrible it would be if you were elected.

Besides, we love to hear your gaffes. They provide a humor break in time of crisis.

Considering this irrelevance, and the Ukrainian scandal with Hunter, the Obama lack of endorsement and the dementia gaffes at every presser... is Joe glad he decided to run!

He doesn’t have real standing in this crisis.

That and what you have is a candidate you can't trust to be in front of a camera even if you manage to get him camera time. That's a lot bigger problem.

As for standing, let's not forget that Joe has been in public office for 46 years and was Vice President for 8 before Trump's election and so any "standing" he has in this will be as a function of how well the government was set up to handle this crisis. Given how lamentable that turns out to be I sure wouldn't want to highlight it.

Wishing now Obama and he had dominated the airwaves with Ebola, SARS and H1N1, I’ll bet.

Didn’t Obama accept a phone call from Dick Cheney, for guidance on H1N1? Trying to remember...
