Rock musician Sean Lennon, the son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, is slamming the news media for its coverage of the coronavirus pandemic, saying that they are spreading Chinese Communist propaganda and engaging in double standards.
Sean Lennon took to Twitter Wednesday to air his frustration with the way journalists are reporting on the global outbreak, especially when it comes to China.

Been listening to ‘respectable’ journalists quoting CCP official numbers for months without doubt or hesitation. Calling it the Wuhan Virus but only days later telling ppl who say it’s from China they’re racist. The official media have lost their legitimacy.
@seanonolennon We live in a time that calling a virus that came from China, Chinese, is racist, (and arguably dangerous for Asians because: morons). Oh, and calling a virus that probably didn’t come from Spain, Spanish, well that makes total sense.

I don’t know if I’d go and proclaim him a conservative just yet. He’s half Japanese and the Japanese & Chinese hate each other. That might have more to do with it than political ideology.
Julian Lennon is doing mostly art & photography now. He & Sean are great friends & have played some gigs together.
Both good kids, but Julian is a mensch with a huge heart.
The girl who inspired the song Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds was a classmate of 4 year old Julian. She later died of lupus. Julian was very kind to her in her illness.

Yeah, I’ve heard the same thing, he had become much more conservative later in life. Even started going to church occasionally.
You know the old saying - “A Conservative is a Liberal who finally grew up.”
Wow, this from the spawn of Joko? He doesn’t have a tenth of the musical talent of his dad, but at least today has about ten times the brains.
There’s a 1974 radio interview between Lennon and Howard Cosell on YouTube. I personally find it fascinating. Howard knew the right questions to ask and never asked dumb crap like bubble-gum gossip celebrity journalists would today.

Yes, it was under the Nixon (Cabal) Administration that ordered him deported.
I think it was Oral Roberts who he struck up a correspondence with. John changed a lot near the end, by many accounts.
