I am giving consideration to a QUARANTINE of developing “hot spots”, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. A decision will be made, one way or another, shortly.
It was possible to apply to stay on campus if you had a good excuse. The remaining students will be moved next week into a dorm where each person has his or her own room and bathroom. They will pick up food twice a day at the front of the cafeteria.
“Wait a few more hours and you won’t need to quarantine because everybody will be gone.”
Likely including a few million illegals.

How do you shut borders where state lines are mere lines on a map. There are no natural barriers between Connecticut and Rhode Island or Massachsetts. Ditto with New York and Pennsylvania. And doing so would effectively cut New England off from the rest of the country. OTOH, isolating California would be far easier.

I would not be surprised, AT ALL, to hear very soon, that NY was lying about their numbers. I’ve already heard they are doing the same thing as Italy, which is lumping all deaths into the corona basket, even if they didn’t die from it.

Mississippi State. I don’t think it’s that unheard of. Cal State Fullerton has a few left in the dorms as of a few days ago. What are foreign students and people from coronavirus hot spots supposed to do? If they can just stay put for a few weeks, the term will be over.
The Lord will help us to be more discerning and rigorous the next time. My husband was very patient and lenient with this tenant too. He totally backstabbed us.

I will contradict myself a bit though, if Trump sets it up, Trump is in charge of ending it, whereas dem governors will abuse it for political gain.

I live in Oregon with a bunch of America hating progressives. Trump could hang Inslee, Brown, and Newsom for starters. Keep making the California, Oregon,and Washington voter “pick New leadership.” Eventually we will run out of rope or progressives.
