Trump: I am giving consideration to a QUARANTINE of developing “hot spots”, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. A decision will be made, one way or another, shortly.

“But they are 40% of total US covid mortality to date.”

That’s their claim, but considering they are liberals with an agenda, I ain’t buying the numbers. The numbers are too far outside the mean to be reliable.

Like you and many in CA including the headquarters of this site, I too am behind enemy lines.

Painting areas with a broad brush hurts but the fact is the we are closer to a secessionist movement as discussed in the recent nonfiction book I read American Secession: The Looming Threat of a National Breakup by F.H. Buckley.

The book is not really good enough but it does cover the fact that people increasingly do not want to live near the people they really hate. Dems hate all of us and want us dead. Kid yourself or not.

So the book said UHauls and moving vans will help people migrate out of enemy territory more and more. Areas will split and have to decide if they leave the US how much of the national debt and military to pay.

Dirty Dems are ruining NV,CO,AZ,and TX and it isn’t stopping. Good people remaining in NY,NJ,CA,and southeast Michigan (me) isn’t a good idea. But it costs money to move and I’m retired.

An interviewer of this author tried to argue down some points but then realized he was leaving one alternative: violent civil war. It seemed to sort of scare him because he quickly went back to changing his mind and seeing some good in the moving people out of each state idea. And peaceful secession. Not just CA.

Governor Cuomo uses national guard to create containment zone of New Rochelle, and all is good. President Trump contemplates using national guard to create containment zone for New York city, and it’s a declaration of war... Gotcha.

Whose claim? These are data points collected directly from the sources listed below the chart. Note: US net NY actual 2/29-3/27; 3/28-4/5 projected base on history-to-date ratio with Italy (currently 3.6).

Feel free to check them; but be aware they move around a bit as some autistic incels go back to painstakingly verify state reports. Also, once again, this and other simple charts are freely available - just shoot me a pm for a link. It's trivial to update from the sources, and then you can run/cut all kinds of analytics and produce your own fancy graphs.

“I’ve studied history and the CW for years, probably more than you have, so cite your references please.”

“probably more than your have”

It requires a second rate intellect to come up with such a stupid statement, since you have no idea how much history I have studied.

No, I never said that Lincoln gave direct orders to ravage the South. He was not that stupid.

And, I am not going to spend the next few hours digging up footnotes for you.

I have lived in the South all my life. I have never encountered any adherence to mythology or glorification of the Lost Cause. People do honor their courage and fighting spirit, at least they use to.

In CT, here. People never, ever listen to instructions even if it means they’ll die and kill their elder family members. Just like nobody obeys speed limits, don’t know what a full stop is at a stop sign, on and on.

This is all the minority of stubborn citizens fault this has to be done. Let’s get the microbe killing off period over with.

Yes, you did say that. Better not to make broad comments you cannot back up. You are one of the many from the South who has tried to blame Lincoln for Sherman’s march. The strategy of shutting down commerce and support for the rebel cause was exactly what was needed to bring the Confederate army to its knees. It was the key to bringing the war to an end. As Sherman said, all war is hell. It is not a gentlemanly endeavor as the Confederate leadership believed. Also, don’t underestimate your opponent. The South learned that lesson and so did the Japanese years later. Thanks for playing the game.

“You are one of the many from the South who has tried to blame Lincoln for Sherman’s march.”

Well, Lincoln should be blamed, is to blame, as are all other President’s held accountable for what their generals do, especially since Lincoln congratulated Sherman for his
“great success in his march from Atlanta to the Atlantic” and he definitely knew about it beforehand.

Anyway, I am tired of this.

It’s always disheartening to see that there are still so many supporters of the democrat initiated rebellion of over 150 years ago. Blame the North for their traitorous secession.

Democrats today are no different than democrats then. Believe whatever version of history you like.

Enough. I have relearned once again that one should never try to reason with pig, it wastes your time and it annoys the pig.

Other than some satisfaction in annoying pigs there is no gain.

History is what it is. Democrats traditionally blame everyone else for their bad actions. Happened then, happens now and there is no real gain in it. Thanks for playing the game.

“I have relearned once again that one should never try to reason with pig...”

Such a brave, second-rate intellect. I bet you walk up to grown men all the time and call them a pig. The fact that you don’t ever reveals you to be a coward.

If you were to call me a pig to my face, I would slap about ten pounds of sh*t off your head.
