HANOVER TOWNSHIP- A grocery store lost over $35,000 after a woman pulls a sick prank.
The manager said that a woman, who the police know to be a chronic problem in the community, came in to the store and purposely coughed on the store's fresh produce, and a small section of the bakery, meat case and grocery.
"While there is little doubt this woman was doing it as a very twisted prank, we will not take any chances with the health and well-being of our customers," said Fasula. "We had no choice but to throw out all the product she came in contact with."
Working closely with the Hanover Township health inspector, the store identified every area that she was in, they disposed of the product and thoroughly cleaned and disinfected everything.
Although they have not yet quantified the total loss, they estimate the value to be well over $35,000.
"We are checking to see if our insurance company will cover it, but even if they do, our rates will surely go up next year," said Fasula. "I am also absolutely sick to my stomach about the loss of food. While it is always a shame when food is wasted, in these times when so many people are worried about the security of our food supply, it is even more disturbing."
Store employees did the best they could to get the woman out of the store as fast as possible.
The police were contacted immediately and the case has been escalated to the District Attorney’s Office.
They have said that they will be aggressively pursuing numerous charges.
They don't think the woman is infected but they will make sure that she is tested.
Sadly, we are seeing far too much of the worse of humanity these days.
Just take her out and shoot her. Problem solved.

This is what happens when you let KNOWN criminals not only walk free but they then get to appear on National TV whenever they want and get to take cheap shots at the people that should have prosecuted them.
Now that criminals are being let out of jail and in some jurisdictions not even made to post bail, the scofflaws will get bolder...

Look at who the media focus on, at our universities.
There are a lot of people unhinged out there.
That being said, I suspect there are a lot more decent people out
there that get no media attention or coverage of at all.
