More than half of coronavirus patients worldwide have become better, according to the Johns Hopkins Center for Systems Science and Engineering live tracker.
The tracker shows that of the 354,677 confirmed cases around the globe, 15,436 have died while 100,462 recovered.

It is irresponsible for The Fake News Media (is there any other kind?) to continue to increase the number of "confirmed cases" without deducting those who have recovered or have died. Sorry to sound so callous about deducting those who have died, but I think it is necessary to keep the current status of the virus in context.

They’re leaving out a quarter of a million people somewhere in there.

IMHO, won’t get straight answers about the Current Unpleasantness until long after it’s over.

As of the 03/24/20 12:27 report, 30.502% of those declared ill with
this disease, have recuperated.
Your note above provides numbers that confirm that is the ball-park
we should be talking about.

Who is in charge of these numbers? Are they the official CDC numbers they broadcast on CNN and MSNBC? I’ve noticed even their numbers aren’t exact if I flip back and forth.
To: youngidiot
They’re only mostly dead...

That figu4e in post 4 was resolved cases, not simply recovered.
Sorry about that.

The Johns Hopkins site had a recovered number for the US until yesterday. On 3/22/2020 it showed 178 recovered. Yesterday it went to 0 and it’s still 0 as of just now. I’ve been tracking the numbers for the US, but I take all numbers with a grain of salt.

I have been searching for a number. Does anyone know how many US health care employees have died from working with Coronavirus patients?

The app I watch is news break and I have been wondering the same thing. Washington State was the first outbreak, to our knowledge. They have 2,223 infections, 116 deaths and 243 recovered. What has happened to the other 1864 people, are they on life support, still in hospitals, home? This is the same throughout the country, regarding statistics.
