If you're referring to spelling out how and why hydroxychloroquine is a possibly exciting therapeutic then it is me.
The biochemistry behind it makes perfect sense.

I’ve been taking a dose of Zicam once a day if I go out to run errands that day. Do my usual handwashing, not touching my face, have added keeping a 6’ distance as best as I can. I disinfect practically everything I do touch once I get home, including my purse, grocery bags, doorknobs, counters, any handle of any kind, etc etc. So far so good. I’m hoping to keep it up.
Nope, that's the calculated rate for everyone with a known infection, which includes a LOT of mild and totally asymptomatic infections.
If a patient is sick enough to be in the ICU, it's more like ≈50%.

I guess you are not familiar with what is the typical appearance of a Hasidic Jew.
The doctor, based on where he lives and what he does is almost certainly a member of that religious group, and in that group men often have beards.
I believe he has been testing the community at random to determine incidence, but not waiting to test the patients he treats.
As an experiment it stinks, although you might get some retrospective data from antibodies, if his records are reliable and if the patients cooperate.
A foolhardy community, a self-promoting doctor claiming credit for what many have already proposed and using scarce resources preferentially and possibly needlessly for “his people.”

Using The Lancet’s method of comparing deaths 14 days ago to today’s recovery number (it takes longer to recover than die) the mortality has been running 3.7 to 4.0% since the end of February.
Well I HOPE AND PRAY this is true, but I’m waiting for just about anyone else than WND to report it.
State exactly what the good doctor prescribed so that we can ask our GP for the medication if and when required.
