Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine today issued Stay at Home orders to Allegheny, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Monroe, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, as the state seeks relief to save lives and stop the spread of COVID-19.
This order takes effect at 8:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2020, and will continue until April 6, 2020.

So Doofus governor and a mentally ill female impersonator are steering this state.. no wonder its such a fustercluck
In the words of a wise FReeper a girl scout troop would have an easier time enforcing a cease fire in Syria.
What is happening in Monroe County? Isn’t it mostly farmland?
‘...a mentally ill female impersonator’
Rachel (don’t call me Richard) Levine at your service...
A lot of state game land. But the 611 corridor is really built-up. There’s also a Yuge indoor waterpark(Kalahari) just off of routes 380, and 940.
Rachel has male pattern baldness.
Monroe County is the beginning of the Poconos. E. Stroudsburg is a small city near the NJ border. IIRC, there was at least one CV related death (I’d have to check the latest figures for infection rate).
Why wait to Monday if it is an emergency?

Rachel has a male pattern face...
So at the risk of asking a stupid question - I80 runs through Monroe County. Can someone transit through a shelter in place county in order to travel between two other places not subject to the SIP order?

I’ve been watching the traffic cams, and I haven’t seen a lot going thru there anyway (kind of eerie watching rush hour with mostly just trucks and a smattering of cars).
The problem is NYC. It’s in control mostly elsewhere, but there is a hot bed. They flood into Monroe County regularly though.
Today is Monday 3/23 and it started at 8:00 tonight if I read it correctly.
Perhaps put Pennsylvania at the start of the headline?
Not everyone is adept at a county-based geography quiz
I read the details. Whew! Thank goodness, the “news media” is exempt.
Northeast Pennsylvania is becoming an NYC/metro NJ exurb.
The Chinese Virus infestation is most intense in the counties touching the Delaware River which is the PA/NJ border.
The Delaware River Port Authority should restrict westbound traffic to commercial and emergency vehicles.
Stem the spread!
I wonder what “Rachel’s” reaction would be if “her” doctor told “her” “she” has testicular cancer?
