Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has no intention of dropping out of the race for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, and as the July convention draws closer, his decision to keep his campaign alive may mean chaos for the Democratic party. Five more states have suspended their Democratic primaries amid concerns about coronavirus, and it may soon be impossible for any candidate to win a majority of delegates.
The New York Times reports that Indiana, Connecticut, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Maryland have now joined Ohio in postponing their presidential contests, leaving the future of the Democratic presidential nomination uncertain. Ohio, of course, was supposed to vote last Tuesday, but suspended their primary contest just hours before people were to head to the polls, over concerns that voting sites were not prepared for large numbers of people who could spread the novel coronavirus.
Other states, like New York, where coronavirus numbers are high and growing, are looking at postponing or canceling their upcoming primaries, concerned that the virus will still be spreading weeks or even months from now. Puerto Rico, which is on lockdown, is due to hold its primary at the end of March and that will likely be postponed. Alaska, Hawaii, and Wyoming vote on April 4th, still within the Federal government’s suggested quarantine period.
April 7th will see the true test: Wisconsin, a battleground state, highly coveted by Democrats who lost it narrowly to President Donald Trump in 2016, is scheduled to hold its primary then and Democrats want a vote turnout number so that they can have an idea of where the Wisconsin presidential contest is headed.
After that, no state will vote again until the end of April.

I tend to think you’re right, and even if you’re wrong about Biden, I’m certain that Dole was a throw away candidate.

FWIW, I’d sure as heck rather see that headline than one of these communist azzclowns that are being bantered about being elected POTUS.
The communists know they have no chance to unseat Trump so the best they can possibly do is try to protect the down ballot with a “sacrificial” candidate for POTUS that won’t hurt the down ballot. Bernie would kill the down ballot, but Biden probably wouldn’t hurt it so much. They’re gonna go with Biden as the sacrifice, and hope the down ballot stays intact. Hopefully, it’s destroyed as well. As another poster said: If they bring in anybody else, the BernieBots are gonna riot and shred the party to pieces...which sure wouldn’t break my heart or cause nary a tear in the eye for me.
They’ll save their more “moderate” communist candidates, such as Communist Crazy Andy and NewScum, for another day, another time.
Of course, this is all just IMHO.... But roll on, President Trump, you got the evil bassturds out in the open and on the run!!

Hillary only needs to wait until the July democrap convention to show up and say, “See? I told you Trump would screw things up! I’m here to save you from that idiot!” She has been preparing to enter the race (notice new face lift, makeup, hair, clothing), and she can win when 30+% of the country is unemployed, a million small businesses have been closed by government dictators, the people are living under martial law and cannot travel, and basic necessities are no longer found and people are wiping their butts with anything they can find.

I happened to see one episode when it was on. William Shatner was the guest and he said “Take all the funding for the military for war and give it all to education.” Headroom yelped for joy and flipped a somersault in praise. Sheesh.
The young viewers are now regular leftist voters, veterans of Occupy Wall Street sitdowns, wishing for socialism and Bernie but grudgingly ready to vote for Biden. United by hatred of Trump. What a generation.
There's a joke going around that we should let it be known that the virus has info on Hillary. The stuff would disappear overnight.
The DNC bosses won’t give the nomination to Bernie even if he’ll freezes over. They’ll select someone who has at least a chance of winning. Or at least not losing control over the House of Representatives.
