It’s possible we’re both right. I am absolutely convinced if this wasn’t an election year the approach would be significantly different. It would be more scalpel and less meat clever.

““...Sounds like an over reaction that will cripple if not destroy the economy of his state....”
And that right there is what the libs are after...they’re crazy and will do ANYTHING to take down the USA and thus, the POTUS.

Libs are an evil virus themselves....a demavirus!!!!”

We knew that in California, but some of these other states are as bad or worse than us. Some counties/cities in California are not doing what the Bay area and Sacramento are.

Best laugh of the day, watching the signer. I didn’t bother listening because I was LOL.

So why do we need 49 other copycat Governors?

“His every word and action tells me this is a very dangerous virus....and he should know.”

Many of us who had Top Secret Clearances: TS/SCI.
during the Cuban Missile Crisis, JFK getting killed, the Nam BS, the Liberty and Pueblo bs, sometimes wake up at 2-3 am from those memories.

I would not want to know what President Trump and Mike Pence know about this virus.

You can always count on the WaPo to praise the Republican who acts most like a Democrat

I sent RINO, and Ohio homie Hugh Hewitt a link to this story. He praised DeWine and Acton this week for stopping the spread.

DeWine is a ‘nice’ guy, but not one who should be in charge of anything. DeWine seems to agree with my assessment and has ceded his authority to Acton apparently.

Shut everything down and claim that you saved lives. It’s impossible to disprove.

That is the reality and a real problem.

In a week or so, a lot of marginal income people will be hurting to pay bills and to buy food to feed their families.

This is all part of the plan. Some governor or another had to be first.

Ohio is a solid Midwestern state, not known for any sort of craziness. Their governance is actually regarded very highly among professionals in state government in other states. When I say professionals in state government, I am talking about medicaid fraud investigators, charity regulators, state auditors, and the like. Their public pension system is not nearly as much of a mess as that of many states.

DeWine is not known among other governors and people in Washington, on both sides, as being any sort of ideologue or someone aspiring for higher office. He’s 73 and has 24 grandkids. It is widely assumed he is a one-termer who is ready to retire.

So DeWine is the perfect governor to be the first to enact many restrictions. Other governors say to themselves, “My God, if Mike DeWine is doing X, there must really be something to worry about,” or “If Mike DeWine in Ohio just did Y, I’ll get away with it easy.”

Still doesn’t answer the question of why—with all this monkey-see, monkey-do—do we need all the other d@mn monkeys that can’t think for themselves?

What if Trump himself asked the other governors to enact these measures and pointed to DeWine as an example?

Probably part of an evolving plan. The Marxist governor of Pennsylvania is doing his part by “going nuclear” on the destruction of the economy in his state.

The “shutdowns” NEED TO END after the maximum of 15 days!

Thinking is hard.

Let’s go shopping.

Oops, did I close the shops?

I say they get 15 days to prove their shutdown did anything, if they can’t show a substantial decrease in cases than it failed and time to being to open things back up.

Not yet. We have so many people on some type of governmental pay, this is just a free vacation for many.

The small/independent business owners will be in dire straits in a couple of weeks.

One of my wife’s close friends is an office manager for 6 dentists, and they will close their offices and have one dentist on call for emergencies. They will give salaries for 2-3 weeks depending on years of service. If this continues until 1 May, they will probably close their office.

If this bs continues until Easter, we will have a lot of people going bankrupt.

They are in various states of denial and shock.

They have rent/mortgages and most have children to feed and care for.

We really had no choice. What were going to do, elect Cordoroy? DeWine has proven to be the anti 2A, anti constitutionalist we all thought he would be.

Oh isn’t she the Grim Reaper?!

I heard her the other day and was like...is she really that disconnected from reality around her.

No wonder DeWine is panicked
