SANTA FE, N.M.- Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced a new Public Emergency Order Wednesday that calls for the closing of various establishments in an attempt to stop the spread of COVID-19. The order requires all restaurants in New Mexico to be limited to take-out and food delivery, starting Thursday. The governor is requiring shopping malls, recreational facilities, movie theaters, spas and athletic clubs to close.

And folks lose their homes and credit rating trashes when they don’t have a job?
NM coronavirus Ping.
Have ANY of these pols thought how to get things going again?
No, a RAT cannot put two and two together, much less know anything about the constitution. Preventing a non-crisis with illegal confiscation is not the way to do this. Will they be willing to compensate for lost wages and destruction of businesses? No.
That’s about the size of it. The restaurants here had already gone to limiting seating capacity to ten a few days ago.
The governor here was ready to wreck the oil industry here with “green energy” ideas when oil prices dropped like a rock wiping out our projected budget surplus. And now income will drop more.
My question is what is the definition of a shopping mall? For example is Nob Hill area a shopping mall because it has more stores than Winrock. What about Eastdale Shopping? And Eubank Avenue has a continual strip mall for almost 10 blocks.
The politicians are insulated from the real world effects so no they have not thought things through, and if they have it’s some pie in the sky idea.
The Albuquerque mayor will probably consider those areas a “mall” and close them down per the emergency ordinance listed here: https://www.kob.com/albuquerque-news/new-emergency-ordinance-allows-bernalillo-county-to-issue-a-curfew-close-streets/5676934/
Social distancing good. Building a wall bad.
Orange man also bad. (According to Liberals)
So, ultimately, individuals and businesses face defaultmon their loans to the banks. The same banks that we bailed out in 2008. Wouldn’t be a nice gesture for the banks to suspend loan payments for the duration of this epidemic and lengthen the term a like amount to reciprocate?
They don’t seem to care.

Two hours. Thats all the time medical teams in Singapore are given to uncover the first details of how patients contracted the coronavirus and which people they might infect.
The NYS (slimes) did not go into what Singapore was doing but these postings did explain what and how Singapore was doing. Which is well worth a look.

I don’t know if there is a “Trump sucks” angle, but my sister in law lives in Singapore. This is for real. They have people assigned at entrances with hand held infra-red heat guns. She said she was scanned 5 times just today. Anyo e who get hot they are inquisition to find out who they have been with? How long they felt like this? If they ever coughed in public do. Wwho? Their shelves in stores are full and there is no pani, from what she says. This is a very effective and organized way to handle the crisis. This is Priminister Lee speech to Singapore population on what they learned from the Sars outbreak to deal with this. Trump (and I love him) could learn a lot from Singapore.
