Beijing has, according to President Trump's trade advisor Peter Navarro, already nationalized one American factory making medical masks. Moreover, Fox Business Network's Maria Bartiromo on air repeatedly said the Chinese forced at least one ship carrying masks, gloves, and other protective gear to the United States to return to China.
Trump's optimism is not shared in Beijing.... China, using the epidemic as an excuse, is now pushing to change the agreement by deferring its purchase obligations, the heart of the arrangement as far as the U.S. is concerned.

Be a damn shame if those Chinese Generals started to worry about losing their mansions and luxury cars and had a coup to throw the communist Chinese dictators to the dogs.
Media is spreading the word that we import a lot of our drugs from China. We do not. We do import a lot of the medical supplies and paraphernalia, such as gloves, masks, gowns, etc., which we can make ourselves.

They were always going to respond in some way, and due to their totalitarian government they are capable of trying any number of egregious things to maintain their dreams of world dominance. They will not play nice, particularly if there is unrest on the mainland. Anyone who believes they would not use bioweapons, or any weapon they thought they could get away with using and that would sustain their growth as a world power, is fooling themselves.

The real disease is indeed communism. I was visiting a food and wine shop today and I was talking with the owner about everything being shut down and private life being forbidden and put under the government, and she said she was scared because she was Cuban and she remembered how this had happened in Cuba. And how much misery had resulted.
Don’t be fooled, folks; the left sees this as their big opportunity, and if we get out of this without becoming full-on communist, I’ll be surprised.
I think Trump is trying to resist but the media and political pressure, especially from leftist governors, is obviously too much. Closing down restaurants and gathering places and denying the right of free assembly is straight out of the communist takeover playbook.
Somebody should pose a Constitutional challenge to the denial of the right of free assembly. But of course the Supreme Court has closed its doors, so I guess that takes care of that.
