Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) on Monday called for the United States to take more drastic measures to address the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, including a national “shutdown” that would only exclude “absolutely essential work” and stipends to affected workers to assist them in paying their bills as the pandemic continues to unfold across the globe.
“The time has come for extraordinary measures to combat the Chinese coronavirus. What seems extreme today will seem obvious tomorrow,” Cotton, an outspoken skeptic of the House’s relief package, said on Monday.

grocery and pharmacy workers ARE essential?
Truckers and gas stations ARE essential?
Farmers and farmhands, dairy workers?
Garbage collectors?
Pet Stores/ employees?

Trump speaking now, wants no discretionary travel, no restaurant or bar visits, STAY HOME if sick (no wonder food marts are empty), older population need to be protected from non-thinking millennials.
Please tell the single mom who works as a waitress or a hair stylist that her job is non-essential and there’s no money coming in for 6 weeks.
Please tell the person who owns the building that the hair salon rents that there’s no money for rent.
Please tell the bank that loaned the money to buy the building there no money for mortgage.
